Sai & Ribatone surfaced in the music circle with their soulful jam,
Sunday Showers, which was undoubtedly one of the biggest songs in the
summer of 2007/8. Taking their music to another level, the duo is back
but this time with a full-length debut album simply entitled, Here and
Now a thumping soul piercing offering.

A journey through the evolution of house music, Sai & Ribatone have
been on the ground massaging music lovers with their skillful musical
touches for a number of years. Talking about the album, Here and Now
has boundless craftsmanship of digital and live music, including
captivating and harmonious vocal magic that are provoking.

Best of both worlds, Sai is an electrifying DJ whose hypnotic track
selection, technique, musical ear and performance has made him a
unique spinner in the game. On the other hand, Ribatone is a fresh,
dynamic musician, a keyboardinist with amazing vocal takes, great song
writing skills and mind blowing producing talent.

Generally, the albums production recipe sounds is fresh and theres
absolutely nothing that can be compared to it. Some of the notable
aspects on this release are phat bass, mellow strings and solid heavy
drum lines. This offering is coming to the market in time when house
music is going through a rapid change and the pair goes all out to
find a perfect sound that helps them showcase their full potential.

Injecting a number of hits, the duo displays unbelievable production
skills on this majestic album. The release is well arranged, mixed and
mastered, with each song being tightly chained to the local club
scene. The piano keys are well placed and it is that easy to note that
whoever is in charge is a skillful pianist.

Here and Now features full of life songs with precious up-tempo feel.
Adding more fuel to the already burning fire, Sai & Ribatone
impressively let the melodies do the talking, which gives their music
that professional stamp. One thing that stands out the most though on
this release is the duos ability to use various musical instruments,
incorporating each sound with interesting beats - building a solid
album with variety of songs to dance to.

Pioneer Unit is an independent Cape Town-based Hip Hop record label.

As the name suggests, our focus is on developing Hip Hop artists who push boundaries, break moulds, and blaze trails. ‘Unique’ is an adjective that’s thrown about very easily these days. However, it’s an adjective we feel very comfortable with.

There’s a wide variety of influences in our music, everything from Roots, Dub and Dancehall, to Electro, Detroit Techno, Dubstep, Grime and of course, the sounds of Africa.

Africa is the birthplace of rhythm. That rhythm found its way to the Caribbean through the music of the slaves where it eventually became Reggae and Dancehall. From there it travelled to the US where it evolved into Hip Hop. Soon after, it spread out around the world, and back to Africa.

We represent one completed circle in Hip Hop’s journey. Our mission is to keep that journey alive by making innovative African Hip Hop that is at home anywhere in the world.

My name's Banele Mazibuko/AkA Dj Zeedan i,m 27 and livin in Vosloorus East side of johannesburg. Been a Deep soulful and vocal house dj since the age of 17 and have played in many clubs/pubs as part of the Addicted 2 House Moving/Entertainment.

DJ Zeedan started his musical journey as a dj in 1999 and has mastered the craft as a pioneer in the music and dj industry. His passion and love for house music has landed him in a social circle of the most trusted dj's (Vinny Da Vinci, Glen Lewis, Christos, Ganyani & Internationally - Ralf Gum & Dj Rocco). He also expanded his horizon as he is a Founder member of The Addicted 2 House Moving/entertainment"... Also he played on few radio stations including YFM, our local Radio Kasi FM & Metro FM which caters Nation wide' and internet Massive Metro to name a few.  My musical influences stem from the likes of dj Spen, Louie Vega, Glen underground , Joey Negro , Frankie Knucles, Terry hunter, Spinna, kerri chandler, Basement boys, Robert Owens, Sculpturedmusic, Dj Clock, Brewed Souls & Lilac jeans the list goes on & on.

I don't feel you can play to your best unless you feel what you play right to your core.
