Orvyn Sol

Behind the name Orvyn Sol stands Walisson Braga, a Swiss-Brazilian artist, composer, and music producer with a deep-rooted passion for sound and storytelling. Formerly known in the electronic scene as DJ Extasia, Walisson built his early career spinning energetic sets across clubs and festivals, gaining recognition for his bold style and rhythmic intensity.

After years of evolving both personally and musically, he now reintroduces himself as Orvyn Sol — a refined and emotionally driven project where melody meets depth, and every track carries cinematic weight. This new chapter represents not just a change of name, but a transformation in artistic identity: more introspective, more timeless, and more connected to the light and shadow of the human experience.

With two Billboard chart entries under his belt, Orvyn Sol brings experience and maturity into a fresh soundscape, blending electronic textures, ambient atmospheres, and soulful beats into immersive musical journeys.

Hello Im Pav Modern, founder of Modular Recordings home of The Avalanches, Cut Copy, The Canyons, The Presets, Wolfmother and Tame Impala amongst many others many others.

Before my life as a record company I was a concert promoter and had the good fortune of promoting artist such as Nirvana, Beastie Boys, Fugazi, Pavement, Sonic Youth Pearl Jam, My Bloody Valentine, Hole, Bikini Kill, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs , LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk and hundreds of others across Australia and New Zealand.

I created The Summersault festival in Australia and an island festival in Croatia called For Festival and curated/creative directed events in Australia like Vivid Live 2011 and most recently the UNPOPULAR  exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum.
