Distorted Euphoria.

A system of cells interlinked within cells interlinked, within cells interlinked, within one stem.

Interlinked.

A blood black nothingness began to spin, a system of cells interlinked and dreadfully distinct. Against the dark. A tall white fountain played.

Dreadfully.

In a state of mitosis, we embrace mayhem and contribute to the crumbling of a system. Do you have a particular personality? What separates somebody from somebody else?

Dar and Dulum from a realm called Compound X slowly drifting towards the outer limits of society, in search of a way to achieve conditions of absolute immunity, sculpting magnum opus through their new imprint Distopic Utopia with acute biorhythms and hunting the true liberation of the mind through their artistic language. Embracing electronic music’s poignant zest, The Journey are delivering studio output supported by pioneers and humble music enthusiasts equally.

Built to keep dance-floor hearts full, the Melbourne based duo have knelt to electronic devotees on one knee, gracing stages at the iconic Rainbow Serpent Festival, Pitch Music & Arts, Subsonic and Strawberry Fields Festival, while having cemented solid tours throughout Europe in 2018 & 2019 and again in 2022.  Delivering ammunition for festival, club and afterparty, The Journey have earned themselves a place on some of the world’s finest labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Bedrock & Einmusika whilst also being remixed by some of the industries elite in Bebetta, Tim Engelhardt, PARIS, CIOZ, Re.you, Rafael Cerato and Florian Kruse, the list goes on.  The Journey have added their own flavour to a number of world class artists, remixing the likes of Super Flu, Bebetta, Betoko, Sharam Jay, Luke Chable and Quench’s 1993 anthem, ‘Dreams’.

Their remix for singer-songwriter Running Touch on ‘My Hands’ acquired a well-deserved spot on the 2019 Ministry of Sound Annual.  The Journey also attracted prodigious recognition after remixing the iconic ‘Treaty’ by Yothu Yindi resulting in them being nominated for The Age’s Music Victoria Electronic Artist of The Year alongside Dom Dolla, Client Liaison, Harvey Sutherland and KLLO.  Their original works, collaborations and remixes have amassed three ARIA Club Chart #1’s, and a handful of Beatport top 10’s in their respective genres whilst being played and supported by the biggest names in the industry.

The road ahead derives inspiration from the last year’s vibrant success - musically on some of the world’s most celebrated record labels, amidst stacking shows across the Australian summer and looking ahead will be no doubt entering new territories.

I make a blend of Modular Electronica with tough House Grooves, borrowing energy from techno and nostalgia from the early 90's Detroit scene. 

I am proud of my records I have made with Uk techno legend Carl Cox, USA acid house pioneer Dj Pierre and rock & roll hall of fame artist Nile Rodgers.

For years I made records strictly to play in my live sets and now i've finally decided to release them on my record label @chameleonrecordings

Like a potato that has received too much rain, Damon Walsh quickly outgrew his hometown of Ireland. With nothing but his records, 1210’s & an unbridled enthusiasm he joined the first fleet - setting sail for the fair shores of Australia. Not knowing what to expect when he arrived, he spent his first weekend in Melbourne at Revolver and knew he was home.
As a DJ, Damon’s versatility could be likened to that of a potato, he can mash/bake/fry/steam/boil tunes like few others. With almost 20 years’ experience in the industry there aren’t many genre’s that have alluded him. Nowadays you’ll find him playing mainly deep house and techno – but don’t be surprised when he throws an old spanner in the mix. He is predictably unpredictable! Often taking unwitting dance floors and paddocks on glorious journeys. Also keeping himself busy heading up Events and Promotions for Thick As Thieves, it’s amazing he finds the time to play!
His sound is as unique as his laugh! His friendly approach to music easily transfers from the dance floor to the bar. Not one to break a stereotype, this leprechaun is no stranger to a barstool. Many young DJs owe their careers to the great man – with him regularly taking chances on young’uns who share his passion and love for all things house music, the industry and potatoes.

Damon has achieved what many aspiring DJs dream of – holding down residencies and regularly appearing at some of Australia’s finest clubs and festivals.

Spend 5 minutes listening to and watching Damon play and it becomes evident he loves what he does; his unbridled enthusiasm transforming dance floors for across the galaxy for decades.

Nick Coleman is a music producer & live performer from Melbourne Australia, based in Dusseldorf. A classically trained violinist (A.Mus) and guitarist Coleman completed a Bachelor of Music at Queensland University of Technology.

To date Coleman has written and produced numerous ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) Dance Chart Top 10's, International Top 10 Pop Chart tracks, Beatport Top 10's, and a club hit voted into 'The Australian Top 100 Greatest Dance Tracks of All Time'.

Support from Carl Cox, Joe Goddard (Hot Chip), DJ Hell, Annie Mac (BBC Radio1) and Moguai has seen Coleman’s music performed at some of the most recognised, radio stations, clubs and electronic festivals around the world including, BBC Radio One, Triple J, Space Ibiza, DC10, Glastonbury Festival, Time Warp and Kappa Futur Festival. His music has been licensed to global music brands including Ministry of Sound, MTV, Kontor Records (Germany), and Sweat It Out (Australia)

In 2016 Coleman was commissioned by iconic Australian band Yothu Yindi and the Treaty Project to write and produce music for the band. His work was performed at their sold out Australian shows and the bands performance at the 2018 Australia Commonwealth Games closing ceremony.

In 2019 Coleman developed and programmed software enabling him to play synthesisers and iOS instruments using the violin, becoming the first violinist in the world to achieve this. During the album recording process, pioneering synthesiser makers Moog and Elektron invited Coleman to beta test their software and iOS synths.

Released the 22nd January 2021, Nick Coleman’s debut album ‘Live’, is the first in a series of three live performance albums and the result of two years pre-production, research, development and innovation at the forefront of electronic music technology and performance.
