Sandro Orrù, artisticamente noto come DJ Gruff, Gruffetti o Lowdy N.C.N. (8 gennaio 1968), è un disc jockey italiano conosciuto per la sua originalità nell’interpretare le tecniche dello scratch e del rap, dal 1982, DJ Gruff si esprime nella cultura Hip hop, in Italia, come turntablist, DJ, beatmaker, rapper e produttore..


DJ Gruff ha fatto parte di diversi gruppi/collettivi/crew come i The place to be (Next One, Carrie D, Igor, Nando- Boogie e Mr Hyde) i Casino Royale (Alioscia Bisceglia, Giuliano Palma, Michele Pauli, Ferdinando Masi etc) i Radical Stuff (DJ Skizo, Soul Boy, Sean, Top Cat e Kaos One) gli Isola Posse All Stars ed è tra i fondatori dei Sangue Misto (DJ Gruff, Neffa e Deda) con cui ha realizzato l’album SxM, universalmente riconosciuto come pietra miliare dell’Hip hop italiano. DJ Gruff vanta una produzione musicale ricchissima che vede collaborazioni con musicisti, mc’s, breakers, street artists di tutto il mondo. Dal 1996, collabora con Alien Army, il collettivo che rappresenta l’unione dei più grandi talenti italiani sul giradischi.
