Heritage of Pride is a wholly volunteer-managed non-partisan, tax-exempt, not-for-profit corporation that organizes Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Pride events in New York City to commemorate and celebrate the Stonewall riots. In the spirit of Stonewall, Heritage of Pride welcomes the participation of all, regardless of age, creed, gender, gender identification, HIV status, national origin, physical, mental or developmental ability, race, religion or sexual origin. While HOP’s individual members set broad group policy, the organization is governed by a 14 person Executive Board elected by its membership.

HOP is a founding member of the International Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Coordinators known as InterPride, a not-for-profit organization that provides support to over 180 groups that plan Pride events around the world. HOP is also a member of the following organizations: Northeast Regional Pride, NERP, an association of Pride committees in the Northeast United States; the International Lesbian and Gay Association, ILGA; the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, NGLTF; and the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association, IGLTA.

Hailing from San Francisco, California, Brian is intimately familiar with how house music has swept over the United States for more than two decades. While the technophile makes his living integrating systems and solving technology problems, his home away from home resides distinctly set behind his MacBook and his Pioneer DJ DDJ-SR2 controller. Brian has instigated many a groove at various venues around the globe, from Vancouver to Palm Springs, Los Angeles to Atlanta, New York to Toronto. He makes regular appearances in San Francisco, of course -- doing what he can to maintain a busy life style set around friends, music, and constant exploration.

"It's a bit of a challenge, but one I thoroughly enjoy" says the young DJ. "San Francisco is uniquely positioned -- we are not only a destination for traveling artists and musicians: we are also artists and musicians ourselves. The real question is, how involved do you want to get?"

By college, Brian was sneaking out of his dorm to play underground parties with his friends. It wasn't the anthem style club tunes that marked the charts at the time -- no, hallmarks of the evening were hard-to-find white labels from local record shops. Brian and Aaron Robinson held practice sessions for hours some weekends, before welcoming in throngs of friends and family to dance the night away.

As Brian's skills took shape, it wasn't long before he found a friend in Orlando-originated DJ Mark Snyder. Now residing in the UK because of advances in career, Mark rounded out Brian's catalog with legendary tracks from Sasha and John Digweed. As Brian and Mark's friendship grew, they began to throw house parties together. House parties turned in to club parties -- and this continued until Brian made the move to San Francisco to explore even more music and friendship.

In 2011, Brian worked with other local DJs to create the Rocket Collective - a fellowship of DJs raising monies for better sound experiences at the Burning Man art festival in Black Rock City, Nevada. He relates the tale fondly: "we had Trevor Sigler and David Sternesky -- two amazing, young, talented guys who would constantly create new and different mixes for us to use live! And of course, we would have all original acts booked with help from Mat Dos Santos." The troupe toured for nearly a year before retiring the project, and setting about their own creative paths.

2015 has proven to be a peak year for the young performer, with performances at Toronto Pride alongside Dave Aude, San Diego Pride for Bearracuda, Vancouver Pride for Ruff, and Atlanta Bear Pride as well. Brian was also selected from a host of world-renowned DJs to perform in the Underground Lounge for the legendary Real Bad party, a true honor given the history and support around the event. As for global recognition, Brian continues his regular collaboration and with Vincent Keith's Mascular Magazine to keep his distinct, recognizable sound available to communities the world over.

This award-winning DJ has further honed his skills in such surreal clubs as Cameo (Miami Beach), Rich’s (Houston), Blu (Atlanta), Oz (New Orleans), Universe (San Francisco) and South Beach Nightclub (Houston) to name just a few.

Michael’s high standards and detailed perfection in mixing music has earned him OutSmart Magazine’s “Best DJ” title for three years. Maintaining this skilled integrity has mobilized Michael to keep that title as other DJs have come and gone during that very same period. His level of performance has advanced his creative stage and desire to perform. The security of a long-time and highly successful residency in his beloved Texas simply could not and would not sway his decision to express his art in new ways to those who have yet to experience it around the United States and beyond. He ventured beyond Texas into a world hungry for talent and consistency.

In the fast-paced world of music production , Producer/DJ Michael Tank has taken a back seat to no one. One of Michael’s collaborations with remixing partner Michael Brown generated his first #1 on Billboard Magazine’s Dance Chart. Jason Walker’s “Set It Free”, on Junior Vasquez’s infamous label JVM, not only shot to the #1 spot, but gave Jason his second #1 song and gave Michael his first sanctioned #1 remix. Michael’s next remix, Gioia Bruno’s “Why Did You Call” was one of the most sought after vocals of 2006. Other popular projects included “South Beach” by Dance Planet X and the classic Veronica track “Someone to
Hold”.

The recent success of Michael has quickly caught the attention of industry leaders such as Tony Moran, Junior Vasquez, Manny Lehman and Chris Cox. One of Michael's dreams actually came true in which he performed opposite Tony at Miami's Crobar for White Party. The sold-out event won industry raves as an example of a good venue, good DJs and a good purpose. Producer/DJ Michael Tank has only just begun to scratch, burn and spin the surface of his creativity. Always at work on the next chart-topping mix, Michael eagerly awaits his next adventure which will
certainly find his audience dancing with delight throughout the evening or morning.
