JK FLESH is the pseudonym employed by Justin K Broadrick for his work within heavy techno/electronica - a form of mutant techno that is informed by industrial, dub, 90's drum and bass & power electronics. Justin initially used this pseudonym in Techno-Animal with co-conspirator Kevin Martin (The Bug)
Justin is known for his history as GODFLESH, JESU, FINAL, ZONAL (formerly Techno-Animal), etc, and for writing the music/guitar on Side A of the legendary 'Scum' album by Napalm Death)

Asbestos Salesman (unsigned) released their debut album 'Post-Sludge Post-Britain Post-Slop' in January 2025, with the song 'pigs slurping at the trough' later played on the BBC Radio 6 Introducing Mixtape. Tracks from their album have since been played on Totally Wired Radio, Amazing Radio, and the Polyvinyl Craftsmen podcast. Asbestos Salesman's second album, 'songs from the deadcut' released on 7th November 2025 and swiftly builds on the momentum of their debut album. Their track 'bagalamb', also released as a single, was played multiple times by BBC Radio 6, on their New Music Fix and Introducing Mixtape shows.

Asbestos Salesman discovered a gritty new sound in 2023 when Jess Siggins began collaborating with Joshua Hixson (gold record holder, producer, and lead member of the Collier and Sleep Well Beast acclaim). This jolt of energy and enthusiam led to the release of the pair's first EP 'isle of pigs' through DistroKid on 19th September 2024.

Based in the coastal city of Southend-on-Sea, these two self-proclaimed pioneers of the 'post-sludge' genre bring sounds of alternative rock and post-punk, injected with visceral synth noise and desolate vocals contrasted with a sardonic humour.

After 6 successful live shows since July 2025, to sold out shows and as support acts, the duo are plotting further gigs for 2026 and beyond.

Since emerging nearly ten years ago, Too Pure has uncovered some of the hottest new, underground talent that has been on offer. Artists such as Bear Hands, The Crookes, Jeff The Brotherhood, Esben & The Witch and the mighty Pulled Apart By Horses have all gone on to great things after we’ve had the good fortune to introduce them to the world. 

Now, in our 10th year Too Pure is still working with the same passion for uncovering the unheard, unsung, future heroes of music. 2011 has seen fantastic releases from artists such as Mush & Drahla and we’re continuing to push things forward with upcoming releases from the likes of Seize The Chair, Pet Crow plus many more.

As well as this we’re running monthly club nights/single launches at The Old Blue last in East London. All these events are free and feature that months band, playing live, along side other upcoming acts and some great DJ’s spinning a plethora of indie, electronica and pop.

Bradford, the city of Culture, formed the broken-beat-maker Joe Smith, also known as Polite Bureaux. Smith is joined on stage by his Blood Sister Maya Lili and Raver Viv Maher, introducing Ying and Yang energy live.

2023: Polite Bureaux supported Benefits, also hitting the stage later that year, performing at The Great Escape Festival 2023, releasing their latest single UAMELON, and gaining airplay on BBC Introducing with Melita Dennett and Callum French. While gaining support from the famous music & culture magazine Louder Than War.

Polite Bureaux and Dyslexic Smith attributes his words to the diabolical truths of John Cooper Clarke. Other influences stem from Underworld, Joy Division, The Prodigy, and Sleafod Mods. Ultimately, Polite Bureaux's sound is upbeat and genre-mashing.

The siblings, born in the big cities of London and Keighley, have a family history of Irish and Filipino Malay roots. Their youth was spent much across the country than in one place. Strong family unity is what elevates Polite Bureaux from the crowd. With words that hit home and stand out as most ordinary in today’s world, Championing his youngster from the sidelines is wordsmith and poet Rob. Smith’s father plays a significant role in the lyricism of Polite Bureaux, as his poetry is used as power to pride and break stigma through the performance of music.

Expect brutal honesty and true energy in his venting on stage and in your ears. It’s always more than just a play on words. 2024 catches Polite Bureaux on a UK support tour with Meryl Streek, and a debut album release is on the way, set for release on March 14, 2024.
