Starting with nothing more than a CD player and a belt-drive vinyl deck, Nilesh began DJing in his mate’s bedroom at seventeen.  Tour DJ'ed for Ministry of Sound for 12 years.

After honing his skills in the commercial sector, his big break came when he got the chance to play a Ministry of Sound: Big Tunes event and he impressed us so much, we invited him to come on the road with us for the 2005 Ministry of Sound Tour.

His productions under the Bass Slammers and Static Shokx aliases led to him supporting Bass Hunter at BBC Radio 1’s One Big Weekend with a Dance Nation arena tour soon following. His remix work on 2009’s Big Tunes: Ignition gave him a number two compilation album.  His work with big names like B.O.B, Fugative and Vato Gonzalez has garnered major airplay on the likes of Radio One, Galaxy and KISS FM and we’re thrilled to have him on the Ministry of Sound Tour residents team.

My love of music is long standing!! I play drums and percussion....or did some years ago! I had the pleasure of meeting my best friends cousin, Kenny Mosley, over 18 years ago and we purchased our first set of Technics 1210's together at a tidy sum of money in Mansfield!!!....from there Tom Tom's was born and what an awesome team on the decks!!! Since then I have had the privilage of meeting other talented friends who's dj'ing and producing are second to none!! Chris 'Sevas' Sellars and Tony Redman was where it was at, the 4 of us would go back to back on a regular basis and between us we gigged locally!!! All of us with a love for house music but all loving completely different genre's of it.
 
We all still have one love.....and that's our music!!!
