From conservatory to club.

Art Lapinsch makes melodic techno from a foundation of classical training. Trained as a solo violinist at the Vienna Conservatory, he approaches production as composition - mixing the timbres of the concert hall with the energy of the club. 

Art's sound merges organic classical elements with driving synthetic rhythms. He released on Berlin-based indie label Rhythm Research and on Hamburg-based Exposure Music, which has worked with artists such as Black Loops, Human Movement, and Kyle Watson.

Odra Ode is a sonic project that weaves together elements of dark ambient, drone, IDM, and techno into immersive, introspective compositions. Drawing from the symbolic reinterpretation of Odra as a divine breath, and Ode as a lyrical form, the project explores the space between stillness and movement, weight and air, the sacred and the broken.

Ritual odes — not songs but poetic structures built through sound: layered textures, fractured rhythms, low-end pressure, and ghostly atmospheres that invite deep listening. Odra Ode creates music that is both contemplative and physical, rooted in electronic experimentation and shaped by a desire to articulate the invisible.

The project comes alive through both live performances and DJ sets — the former sculpting real-time sonic landscapes with analog and modular elements, the latter diving into dense, hypnotic selections across genres, always guided by an intuitive narrative flow.

Sound as invocation.
Rhythm as fracture.
Silence as presence.
A sonic offering,
to what dissolves,
to what remains unsaid.
