Originally released in 2001, Omni AM's highly sought after 'Kastmaster' EP reappears for the first time with all the tracks in their OG context.

This EP perfectly encapsulates the US duo's vision to challenge the conventions and boundaries of what defined house music throughout the late 90's.

First up, 'Tubes for Allah', is characterised by heavy driving bass and sub-aquatic sonics. Punchy kicks drums drive the track forward, whilst swinging snares create a skeletal jack that underlies the track's eerie synths and haunting vocals.

Berlin favourite 'Chill New Body' is up next. Out of print for over 20 years this track is slightly more restrained, the dub bass-line interplays with a hypnotising and unforgettable organ riff, until deftly programmed chords send the track off on a remarkable late night mission, with no less energy and atmosphere than its predecessor.

On the flip, 'Beat Dis', is one of Adam & Marky's most highly revered and well-known productions in all it's full glory. Opening with a wailing guitar, this broken, breakbeat Tech-House masterclass, builds with an incessant acidic bass, there's additional percussive effects and a repetitive vocal to keep the track moving but it's those sparse beats and bottom end that are the hook, a perfect example of how 'less is more' can be so effective. This track became such a firm favourite with Craig Richards & Lee Burridge that they included it on the 2nd instalment of their Tyrant compilations.

This is another essential release from the Omni AM and Euphoria catalogue, lovingly remastered from the original sources by Lawrie at Curve Pusher for the new generation's hearts, minds and dancefloors.

Co-label founder N-Gynn is up next on the vinyl-only label Superlux Records and delivers four bass-heavy cuts that come in as smooth and energetic as possible and therefore are summed up under the suitable EP title The Heavens. For the A1, Renaissance, everything mentioned before applies: a powerful bass line features filtered claps, pads with a darker twist and note as well as hints of a wobbling bass and an Acid-line. The last detail is the implementation of spoken words in the track's middle-part adding another facet to it and emphasizing its darker tone.

Subb-an returns to 20/20 Vision with ‘State Of Flow’ featuring vocals from Oli Gosh (Crosstown Rebels). Ash Subhan has been an integral part of the deep house and techno scenes over the last decade and more with releases for One Records, Spectral and Culprit. 

'State Of Flow’ is a beautiful slice of deep techno that incapsulates atmospheric layers of melodies and vocals with powerful bottom heavy bass and percussive floor control. SOF is the first collaboration between Subb-an and singer songwriter Oli Gosh and has resulted in new directions and musical landscapes. SOF comes complete with remixes from Adam Pits and Armec. 

Adam Pits delivers a devious little gem aimed at dance floor destruction that winds it’s way between a heavy garage bassline and 90s four to floor house rhythms, fragmenting the vocal around an increasingly unhinged and infectious groove. It’s fusion served at it’s finest and a super fresh sound perfectly placed for the current club scene. 

Armec accentuates and expands the immense power hidden in ‘State Of Flow’ by breakin' the beats up and adding heavily swung filtered loops snaking around a massive bass. The Armec remix comes complete with a twist to its tale with the additional of a magnificently wobbly arpeggiated synth twisting our melons into a right old state.

Robin Flux is a German DJ/Producer, Artist and Dancer based in Copenhagen. Having always been fascinated by the early era of house music and underground dance culture of the 80s and 90s in the US, he reflects his love and appreciation for house culture in his productions and DJ sets while interweaving influences from Disco, Garage, Breakbeat and Techno. After years of DJing and curating events dedicated to house culture in Germany’s vibrant underground scenes, he has been eager to explore and connect with music, dance, and art scenes elsewhere in the world, playing a series of gigs in Southeast Asia, Europe and lately in New York, while releasing regularly on international record labels such as Miura Records.

Detroit legend Rick Wade returns with his fourth Shall Not Fade release: a four track EP packed with timeless deep house.

On Late Right EP, Wade delivers the classic Detroit-sounding deep house with which his name is synonymous, at times experimenting with stylistic elements borrowed from tribal house, acid and ghettotech. The title track is a punchy deep house track with a funk-infused bassline and jazzy ambience which carries through to the next two tracks where it’s accompanied by the rattle of conga drums (‘Kabukicho’) and a gentle acid melody (‘Acid Creep’). Finally, ‘Quantum Jit’ brings things to a giddy close: a stripped-back club tune with skitterish claps and the syncopated breakbeat of drum and bass.
