He is the embodiment of ecstatic dance, psychedelic and mystical dance.  He is equally gifted in live performance as he is creating music in the studio. Nature is his home. The tribe is his living treasure. VadimoooV is a gift to us, and we want him to stay strong in his journey of life, on a righteous path towards eternity.

VadimoooV is a dear family member, frequent collaborator with Primordial Grooves founder Desert Raven on albums, multi-episode guest on The Odyssey and now Primordial Grooves, and a very spiritual and loving soul, with all devotion from his soul directed towards the Sacred.  He is a healer with prophetic gifts.  He is a brother and friend to his neighbor.  He is a peacemaker.  His influence on mankind is already felt in his local community through his life and actions, and his love is felt all over the world with his sound and spiritual reflections and meditations.

Here in this emotional journey of the soul, VadimoooV paints a passionate and deep voyage into the heart, into the cosmos, through distant lands, through mysterious cultures, and to honor the Almighty  Sacred Love that is everywhere present yet not felt and given enough.  Darkness fades into Light.  Ice melts into Fire.  Our cry to the Heavens is our last and final call for help and freedom.  We suffer, and we heal.  It is all foretold, but we must still strive to enter into the fulness of its reality.

The mysterious Leipzig based duo JAJA released one of favourite albums of 2016 (Tropical Bird Club) on ynfnd (you need friends not discs) and we have been waiting to release something from them on Shika Shika ever since! 

For this Botanas, JAJA serve us up two humid, organic tracks seeped in dark green vegetation and marked by screeching birds from the canopy and mysterious voices from the forest floor. One for the deep groove.

Once upon a time there were two wandering boys who felt like they had something special to say. Iranian by birth, Canadian by upbringing, they’ve had the urge to create their own bridge between these two worlds ever since they could remember. Equipped with nothing but their passion and love, they stormed the electronic music scene in Vancouver as DJs for more than 5 years. Now their story takes them to Berlin as a new chapter begins. 

Their names are Behnam & Mehran and together they are Madota.

Perfectly in tune with the summer season upon us, Islandman presents a refreshing sound from the shores of the Black Sea with this splendid sunny mix. Originally from Turkey, this brilliant producer started out at a young age and made his way in music by playing a traditional long-necked lute known as a saz. It’s thanks to this early relationship with music that Islandman developed the technique and feeling needed to handle farfetched rhythms, sounds and chants inspired by the flowering cultures of the Mediterranean Basin and beyond to blend them with mastery in his tracks and mixes. This eclecticism and understanding of music has helped him put together a wide range of melodies and musical styles which extend from enchanting edits of traditional Bulgarian sounds to smooth balearic disco. His mix is exciting and mesmerising, catching the mind in a gentle twine of melodies and rhythms. Welcome to the eleventh TELECAST. A series of podcasts that will be released mostly monthly. With the humble aim of combining the music I find, love and want to share into a set for everyone to enjoy. Hopefully, it will become your go-to place for a fix of good music.

About Telecast - #011
As some of you might know, I moved to Lisbon last week. We came to Porto a while back and it has been a blast living in this beautiful country. The food obviously is amazing, but what stands out the most is the great people I meet in the music scene here. There is a lively downtempo electronic world music scene here that has invited me with open arms. It’s truly inspiring to be here. 

So I used these connections to make the latest Telecast. I first got introduced to @ohxala or Isa and Luis. They’re an amazing couple living in Porto who seem to pull the whole scene here to another level. They release music on all the big downtempo labels and are releasing music on @ohxalarecords, two of which are in this Telecast: The track by @saif-halasa and @fortu_nato. Go check out the label. Also an honourable mention for @mike-stellar who helped us make a perfect landing here in Lisbon.

Downtempo? Is not that an independent genre? You might think, but Ninze creates his very own. One year ago, the fine guy conjured up a dreamlike live set together with his loyal companion Okaxy. Today he enchants us with a DJ set. He says: I wanted to create a set, which you can turn on after five hours of afterhour. We think it is everywhere and always audible. Let yourself be intoxicated.
