My first interpretation of a medieval  polyphonic piece. The Agincourt Carol (sometimes known as "Deo Gratias Anglia") is a English choral composition in 3 parts  which commemorates the battle of Agincourt in 1415.

On this night, according to legend, Shiva performed tandava - the dance of primary creation, preservation and ... destruction. Friends and fellow travelers!

With great joy and gratitude I feel the arrival of spring all around me. 
Its in the morning light filtering down through the bare branches. In the sparkling birdsong and warm touch of the sun on my face. It is in the soft breeze and the dripping of melting ice. Its in the expanding sensation of hope and gratefulness swirling inside. 

Ostara, the spring equinox is a time during which light and darkness are again in balance, with light on the rise. It is known as a time of new beginnings and of life emerging further from the grips of winter. In other words: A time of great celebration! 

The journey starts slow, an invitation to become more fully present, before nose diving into progressive deliciousness, and from here we gradually liquify deeper into the full-on and psychedelic madness, before finally emerging with a healing reminder of our connection to the earth and that in the end only kindness matters… 

So I hope you enjoy this mix that I recorded in celebration of Spring. That you put it on full volume and that you dance. And that you feel the joy of knowing that soon we will meet again on the dance floor.

Free download at http://didgeproject.com. In Chennai, India I met bansuri flute player Navin Iyer. Navin invited me into his home studio and we recorded this track in one take. Navin then ran post-production and sent me the final cut once I was back in Brooklyn. Musicians: Navin Iyer - bansuri flute, AJ Block - didgeridoo.

A recording of an Ecstatic Journey I played some time ago in Koh Phangan - Thailand for the most wild and playful Ecstatic Tribe any Dj can dream of!!
After some time I started to play I was told I could go on for as much as I wished... so I just let go and lost myself into the Journey!!!
3 & half hours of PURE CRAZINESS  ... not alone though!! .... what a crowd!!!! ... ready to follow me on any level, so encouraging, so wild and playful!!.... I really would like to thank from my heart everybody that was there dancing, sweating, screaming, laughing, crying, whirling, hugging, kissing, flying and just letting go for embracing the Whole and becoming ONE!!
This is exactly Koh Phangan Ecstatic vibe!! ... come and dance with us!!

The weavings of this mix have been deeply inspired by Bayo Akomolafe’s slippery-shape-shifting offering of “Making Sanctuary”:  What is “Making Santuary”?
