Nacio en 1981 en la Ciudad de México Como DJ incursionó desde muy joven en la música electrónica, orientada principalmente al techno y breakbeat.

Ha seguido de cerca el Techno, Breaks y Drum&Bass durante su carrera produciendo y mezclando los subgéneros mas experimentales y demoledores del Bassmusic.

En el 2002 viajó a Francia instalándose en las ciudades de Lyon y Marseille donde alternó con la escena Europea, con el que participó en múltiples eventos con presentaciones en clubes como Le Monde à l'Envers, La Fée Verte, Le Ciné Quanone y más.

A más de 25 años en su carrera como dj,  se ha vuelto un icono respetado dentro de la escena electrónica nacional, así como su reconocimiento en el extranjero por su arduo trabajo y enfoque en cuanto a producción musical y producción de eventos.

Actualmente miembro del colectivo Black Ratio.

Robsound is a Guatemalan DJ and producer, since 12 years ago has been playing in the local scene alongside the most renowned DJ’s from this area, on his sets he plays with varied sounds and basslines with a dynamic and roller style that comes from liquid funk to ragga jungle, a full spectrum of drum and bass, on the dancefloor is a blend of fresh energy, powerful and dark basses vibrating on the people’s bodies.
With many of his own tracks and remixes he is an expert in the genre and a specialist on the ambient sounds and FX's that reaches the atmosphere to immerse people in his singular type of DNB he creates, never losing the influence and roots of drum and bass and ragga jungle style.
Listening to his sets or his own tunes, is a whole new thing in the experience of Drum and bass.With many of his own tracks and remixes he is an expert in the genre and a specialist on the ambient sounds and FX's that reaches the atmosphere to immerse people in his singular type of DNB that he creates, never losing the influence and roots of drum and bass and ragga jungle style.

Dope Ammo's remix of Baby D’s rave classic “Let Me Be Your Fantasy” reached No.2 in the main Beatport Chart. It also became Beatport's biggest selling Drum & Bass tune over a 12 month period. 

Since then, the Dope Ammo remixes and radio support has kept coming. In 2022, Dope Ammo began a collaboration with London Promoter 'Moondance'. In 2022 they released the 'Together' album which also became a No1 best seller across Beatport, Juno and ITunes Dance.
