MASA 006 delves deep into the sound of Leipzig resident HAL (@h0a0l)and includes two additional collaborations with his long-time friend & studio partner Perm (@perm-3). It's an elegant selection of tracks produced between 2018 and 2023, some of them recovered from long-lost hard drives and carefully remixed with the help of T I N's keen ears.

An always-present groove, magnetic synth-scapes, and saturated ambiance set the pace throughout the EP while the warm and fuzzy sound makes for timeless joy, blending throbbing techno with deep house and dubby nuances, giving every beat a distinct texture.

#34 episode of our KWAST series belongs to https://soundcloud.com/ravetoszyn_matoszyn - after turning the age of 14 he started playing bass guitar. Being involved in 4 different rock and metal bands, he was making music in the next 5 years. Developing as a musician this way, the experience has shaped his style and the vibe that he represents as a DJ today. 

If you look at his past, there is no doubt that groove is his main weapon, but his DJ journey has started with heavy and brutal sound. When he debuted in 2017 at Wixapol S.A. he was mainly interested in things that go beyond 170 bpm such as gabber, happy hardcore, hard trance etc. Nowadays he represents much more but with less speed. He loves to blend tribal, oldschool grooves with Detroit and housy vibes. It can be described as driving, housy techno for romantic and melancholic souls.

His story doesn’t end here. Beyond his DJing he is also responsible for club nights such as https://soundcloud.com/zajezdnia which promotes hard dance music and Gruvi that represents his modern groovy taste.

A.dry, from his real name Adrian, is a Swiss DJ, resident at Studio31. He's born and raised in the city of Biel/Bienne and a true music lover for years. It wasn’t until 2021 that he discovered his deep-seated passion for electronic music. His techno style is in a constant state of evolution, traversing through various subgenres. 

His set is a fusion of minimalism and intensity, featuring subtle vocal elements and captivating raw sounds. Prepare to be immersed in his distinctive techno vision.

Berlin based producer Ed Davenport unveils new material under his Inland alias with the Nightfall EP on Figure SPC. The Inland project reflects a more purist, hardware driven approach to techno. Many of the elements are recorded live, and overdubbed to build up a modulating, dynamic sound. Glide introduces us to this new territory with an airy, spacious wash of textures and atmospheres. This then leads us to Nightfall where sinister strings and filtering synth stabs tell a tense and dramatic story, underpinned by a tough, pushing kick. Snaking and jacking with an insistent thump and rolling bass, Support submerges vocal manipulations and classic synth chords in spacious reverb, adding to the effect of motion. A more hypnotic trip, Celebration locks down a dubbed, psychedelic synth pattern, driven by another powerful kick and a teasing sub-bassline. Celebration is also included in a dub form as a digital only extra, expanding the space within and creating a different mood entirely.
