Hailing from Manchester, @a_morgan is a strongly active DJ and producer, curator of the well respected Rhythm Theory parties. 

Best known for his productions on labels like @newrhythmicrecords or @prodigalsonuk , his particular tone focuses on fast-forward mixes packed with infectious grooves and unpredictable layers. 

Alex is pointing the way ahead with his clear vision of modern-day techno, and today offers us a 1h huge journey to jump into it.

We’re continuously in awe of the endless possibilities of music production, the ability to capture the very essence and energetic vibration of something, even in physical form, and portray it sonically; or capturing a fleeting moment of nature’s voice - never to sound the same again - and shaping it into a soundscape, element or rhythm enticing the listener to move or meditate, or both. Without necessarily realising it, as we listen to the final creative output, we become locked in a dialogue with the universe, spurred on by so much more than we might realise, re-living and honouring moments in time which happened to be captured and transformed. Magical stuff, if you choose to see it that way. 

Zemög (Circular Limited, From a Lost Place et al) is an artist who, through the delicate intricacies of his work (testament to his devotion for sound art and design) continuously feeds the awe we experience. Transporting us to wondrous and mystical places, his inspiration being high mountain ecosystems and indigenous cultural and musical environments, Zemög strongly resonates with the energetic realm that connects all living things, with his productions and mixes seeking to remove us from the physical and take us on a ride through blissful meditative states and mental expansion.

We’re back once again, as always feeling masses of gratitude for the music which continues to be a source of comfort, inspiration, and love!

This week we bring you podcast #152, coming at you from DJ and producer, Knay (Circular Limited, Crescent Records, Natch, KVLTO).

Our biggest love and thanks to Knay who has woven together a deep, heady and invigorating warm-up journey, the perfect trip for a warm summer evening.

Allowing ourselves to become fully immersed, the gentle rhythms and beautiful atmospheres engulfed us in a blissful haze - eyes closed, bodies moving, smiling without thought - the music taking over completely and us, putty in its hands.

Jessie Granqvist [Hypnotic woods/Momentum]
Since her debut as a DJ in 2011 she has been resident in several underground clubs which formed her as an artist and person.
With roots grounded in raves and open airs, she has gained notoriety for her style of trippy, groovy and meditative sounds merged together into a very danceable mix. With both technicality and an eclectic selection of records, she has the talent to truly build and build a long lasting vibe on every floor that she appears on. Since her start Jessie has been seen in almost every dj-booth in Stockholm (where she is based) as well as clubs in Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and more. 2018 she played her first live set at Uppsala artmuseum in a collab with artist Timothy Wilson. Jessie is resident at Stockholm based Hypnotic woods, Momentum and berlin based Feieramt.
