Wowowow this one just flew off my fingertips like butter everyone -chef's kiss-. I simply could not believe how GOOD Hyrule Castle with complextro is! Sometimes you just drink grandma's soup and enter Fierce Deity mode yknow? Once I started putting the track together, the regal dubstep feel with the electro house beat just slapped my pig Ganon back into the void. I feel like I've come a long way since Dark World too, holy crap that was almost 5 years ago?! This is honestly what I wanted Dark World to sound like at the time, but I didn't quite have the chops to do it. The sound density in this one also made my computer cry lol. I hope y'all enjoy this one as much as I had fun making it! 

Man I need to play this game again.

nokbient & bLiNd - A Bloody Beginning (Castlevania Remix)

First person to tell me what time the "U" in thumbnail says gets an imaginary cookie ;)

This was supposed to a Melee remix...but I just felt Chrono Trigger flowing through my veins. It honestly came out way faster than I expected, with pretty great results! Is it just me or are these remixes getting funkier? Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this one, and there's a stream documenting most of the creation process for this too. This also happens to be my Dad's favorite VGM song, so I'm glad I finally got to it. When listening, you'll notice that the arpeggio motif in the beginning stays until the end, and the whole thing is a loop-able piece, try it!

Melee is still coming, don't you worry~

Chrono Trigger: Corridors of Time [Zeal Theme] (Vector U Remix)

WOOOOO we're starting off the N64 album with a BANG fam :D

The lady picked this song since it's her favorite childhood game, and I think it was a great choice. When I was picking a genre for Koopa's Road, I wanted something energetic but also epic/evil sounding.  This is my first Complextro song, (a wubby sub-genre of Electro House) and I really like how it turned out! I tried to sort of tell a story with the in game sound effects, starting with the evil foreboding Bowser laugh and ending with the triumphant defeat. The intrinsic nature of complextro lent itself to the choppy syncopation of the lead and chords. In short, feelsgoodman.
