hape. is the electronic offering of Berlin-based Arthur Porro. His tracks blend melodic techno and deep house give catharsis, and explore the happy ache of human existence. Since releasing debut single "Greatness" in February 2021 amid a prestigious residency, hape. has steadily gained attention with each new release. His most streamed track to date, "Walls," is a testament to his ability to alchemize melancholy and epiphany into a cohesive and powerful sound.

In 2023, hape. continues to evolve as an artist, releasing new track Rebirth and dropping a remix of Fred Again x Swedish House Mafia's Turn On The Lights again. He hosts his own radio show, Undefined, which features new music spanning melodic techno and progressive house. With almost 40 episodes to date – and garnering attention from the likes of Camelphat – "Undefined" is quickly becoming a go-to resource for fans of these genres.

Spent the following few  years aimlessly wandering Scandinavia in search of the fabled velvet love mitten.
Although the search for the elusive mitten was fruitless,
he spent his time collecting facial expressions in the hope of one day being able to use them to help create tongue twisting raps.
 The search for such varied expressions took him from the caspian sea to to wastelands of the bandit ridden balochi dessert.
After  many hours of soul searching he found no answer, with only his vast collection of expressions and his redman cassette for companions he decided it best to return to his native Yorkshire.
After returning he was branded an outcast and a fruity, so spent the next years in exile deep in the bowels of Scotland,   although the weather and food was bleak, the additions to the facial expression collection was outstanding, a pivotal point leading to the personification of the character we now know as Darealmrlee.
That said the collection wasn't complete enough for him to take his artistry to a satisfactory level, so once again he spread his wings this time to the rural North Poland to feast on soup made of goose blood and the worn expressions of a tormented yesteryear.

McDead is the musical vehicle of London born producer and archaeologist Kev Edinborough - travelling all over. His music is heavily influenced by the alternative/electronic scene he grew up with working as roadie and then guitarist back in 1990's South East England, playing dozens of dodgy and later not so dodgy venues, before going back to college, getting a PhD and being an archaeologist when not making music. Hard to nail down, McDead draws inspiration from Captain Beefheart and Extreme Noise Terror as much as Steve Reich, Jimi Hendrix and Mr Bill.

The first McDead album was recorded in Melbourne with Plastic Jungle Records at Laneway Studios, with a limited vinyl release pressed at Zenith Records which sold out in 2021. Thanks for all your support!
