Hydroz (aka Hydraulix) is the Miami Electro Bass outfit consisting of AshRock & JimiTheGenius. Together they have been releasing music since the early 2000’s and continue to push their sound till today. Drawing from their childhood influences (2 Live Crew, Debonaire Records, Cut It Up Def Records, MC A.D.E, Dynamix II, etc) to create their own unique hybrid.

With 20+ releases on labels like Kuad, Touching’ Bass, Monotone, Frite Nite, Zone, etc - and currently working on new material set to be released later this year, including a new track in this mix.

As a child of the 80’s Commuter was Inspired by all electronic music he could find; ranging from acid house, EBM, Synthpop, Electro, Rap/Hiphop, New Beat,House, Italo, early Techno and with a particular passion for Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk.

Since his recording debut in 2004 with the song ‘Electrostate of Mind , you can find his music on labels like : Zone, Cultivated Electronics, Skryptöm, Elektrofon, Bass Agenda, AFU Limited, Space Factory, Goog, Citizen and BoysNoize records.

Over the years, he has had the opportunity to remix various artists including Miss Kittin , John Lord Fonda, Captain Mustache or Nomenklatür, and to collaborate on the Roentgen EP with The Hacker.

In 2023 Commuter will be back with new music, so watch this space …..

ParallaX 003 | COMMUTER

Lee Cee started playing vinyl in 1997 and has always brought an eclectic sensibility to her sets, with varied taste in genres but mostly Acid, Electro and Techno.
She began her journey on the Free Party scene and as well as her hometown club, the legendary Club 69 in Paisley in 2002. Lee has played alongside legendary selectors such as DJ Pierre, Nightwave, Co-Accused, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Jerome Hill.

Lee has also been a resident for Tech-Know Radio on Glasgow’s Groove City station since 2019 and is well known for her diverse and infectious style, and an old school, intuitive approach to her all vinyl sets.

For this ParallaX mix the northern selector has, as always, graced us with a Vinyl only mix.

Lee wants to Shout out to Ara-U's new EP "No Future" on Co-Accused's label (CR003) which is out early August, there's a couple of tracks on this mix from it.

Hailing from West Palm Beach, Florida, Grow (@adamgrow) is a renowned producer and DJ who embarked on his musical journey in the early 1990s. Founder of CHP Recordings in 2007, his debut vinyl release, "Electronik Milk," gained significant recognition within the electro community. Additionally, Grow co-founded the band Ohverclock alongside Kounterakt from Code Rising, resulting in multiple album releases. Grow's distinctive style encompasses cleverly processed vocals, powerful basslines, and haunting synthesizer elements. CHP Recordings has been ramping up production tenfold as of late adding new artists to their roster, and celebrating repeated success on the Beatport electro chart. Originally from Paris, SOD-90 started producing alongside his studies as a flutist at the conservatory of classical music Hanns Eisler from Berlin.
As a professionally trained instrumentalist, SOD-90 takes an instrumental approach to electronic music, and in doing so; moves to a fully hardware production workflow.

He has since then crafted his own gritty sound, characterized by distorted drums and scorching synth-lines, with EBM and new wave influences.
Expect the same from his Djing style.

He has released on Avoidant, Bipolar Disorder records, Emotional Voyage, with more in the pipeline very soon!

In mythology, EREBOS was born from Chaos, personifying the darkness and the underworld.

Fan of Kraftwerk, synth wave, EBM and analog machines, EREBOS 101 is the new project of a Franco-Greek, Techno DJ & producer who has been travelling the world for several years.

This project allows him to return to his roots and the anonymity o fearly Electronic music in a darker universe. Repetitive, mechanical rhythms and melancholic layers in a retro futuristic atmosphere associating man and machine. Defender of minorities and the LGBTQI+ community, his music is committed and political.
