XS, aka Jay Fatigate has been a staple in the electronic dance music scene since 1987.  Starting off in New York with Freestyle, Miami Bass, House, Hip Hop, and R&B.  In 1991 he assisted a DJ in New York’s Palladium Night Club when he received his first techno record by recording artist L.A. Style, which wrote, “James Brown is Dead.”  In 1992 he moved to Daytona Beach, FL where he entered the “Florida Rave Scene.”  He began to DJ for the Mad House @ Zonkers in Daytona Beach.  As his talent spread on scene flyers and by word of mouth,  he began to spin and work many bookings in Orlando, Gainesville, Tampa, Tallahassee,  Miami, and Fort Lauderdale, at all major venues.  In 1997 he was signed to “Go Off Productions” and played for major promotional companies such as Culture Productions, and FSOB, traveling the county.  

He retired for 20 years to raise a family in South Florida.  As the pandemic hit, he began to create again.  “I have Returned” was his comeback compilation, streaming now on SoundCloud.  Currently he’s been booked by promoters such as FSOB, Sunshine State of Bass, 808 Life, Frajile Recordings, Theoryon, Culture, and  more.  His unique style of mixing will send you on a journey that you will definitely want more of!

I am Cool-Roots aka Cool-Rudy/ Singer, songwriter, dancer out right entertainer. "If you know not Love you know not God, cause god is l Love" I am a part of "Love and Light", "Sunshine In Your face". I have a unique style, being that I come from the original days of when Hip-Hop began I appreciate breaks and EDM more than anyone can imagine. I watched how it was all Hip-Hop at one time and then mans plan to divide and conquer through making a difference between the culture. I stayed with what I have a passion for and that's good music that has good lyrics and beats to dance to. I MC'd for DNB band D'void at 2015's Earth Dance Being that I have a Caribbean background I flow to the beats with A REGGAE chatting style over those 808 banging beats, DNB, Electric beats etc. as well as an old school MC style of rap, then taking it to singing some free-style over them as well.
