In this journey the theme of "COMMITMENT" came up so strongly. What is commitment for me, committing to myself? Do i really show up on the dancefloor of live? How would it be if i really say YES. How would it be if i share and give myself FULLY in this very moment...To really OPEN MY HEART with and without fear... this journey invites u to show up on your own dancefloor..GIVING yourself fully for this 2h16...what do u find out about yourself? This DJ set is dedicated to my friend Otto Rockener, who passed away the weekend when I played.
He was one of the pillars of Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam, a huge inspiration for me as a dancer, as a dance teacher, and as a human being.

Amazing Grace, a very profound Medicine Song coming from the Christian tradition. Amazing Grace was written by John Newton in the late 1700's. Earlier in his life he was a slave trader, engaged in what we could all agree was a wretched thing to do. Newton later claimed to be saved by the holy spirit and wrote Amazing Grace to commemorate his transformation from the dark horrors of his past into the light of his newly discovered faith. 

John Newton became a pastor, embedded with regret from his deeds as a slave trader, he then became a well known abolitionist, fighting passionately to end slavery, and to right his former wrongs.

Amazing Grace Live In The Jade Room

Played live on Ecstatic Hof HaCarmel at HaMa'ayan (Ma'ayan Tzvi Industrial Area) on 25.2.23, this set was perhaps my most flowing and fun to play up to now in Ecstatic Dance Israel. 

About 50 beautiful souls chose to come on a sunny winter Saturday afternoon, and dance their hearts (and pelvises)out with me. 
I am so f@#^in' humbled by that.

"Buena pinta" it is a little tribute to the mysterious force of the Taitas, to the forest, to the Yagé, to the Medicine and its healing power, to the visceral love for Life and Nature.
