Great set Mark.. nothing much else to say here.. 

oh man love the delays and the atmospheric white noise layer...this is taking me somewhere.  So few live artists can do that for me in real time. I don't even often take MYSELF places like this...keep bringin' it!

This stuff reminds me of 1992-94. I went to a lot of raves in Madison, Chicago, San Fran, and then London in '94.  Such sick linear techno...an amazing set happening here 'right before my ears'.  Going to be breaking out my 606's for my next pa again after this...those are the true work horses at the end of the day. The M1AM1, etc...are sugar.  -Back to the music.  Dying.

ain't no clone gonna hold down the fort like this.  I married to Katy Rokit, and we are forced to have an 'open relationship', such that I can still love on my 303's.  It really is kind of twisted, but this is pure audio ear candy here... I feel like the fat kid in Willy Wonka's chocolate tube piping system.

This is the officially the drop that humbled me into silence right here. And then you have to go and play with the release on the envelope. Bastard. 

I shall remain silent for the rest of this set.  Devastatingly delicious.  Wizardry.  Hailstorm acid spells.  Best full live PA with outboard I've heard in ages.  Completely mental.  "Lazers".  Afk to bump this mutha and dance around.  Thanks in advance for the 2nd half of this beast!

It's been over thirty years since house and techno music exploded out of South Side Chicago and inner-city Detroit, and most Americans still don't know their dance music history. In 1977 a DJ named Frankie Knuckles moved to Chicago to spin and remix disco records at an underground club called The Warehouse. Out of a fringe subculture that formed there - gay and African-American - house music would emerge to become one the biggest club music genres in the world. Meanwhile, young black futurists of Detroit channeled their city's post-industrial decay into a utopian machine music known as techno. In this Hip Deep episode, Afropop travels to Chicago and Detroit to explore the past and future of electronic music. Through dozens of interviews with seminal house and techno producers - including Paul Johnson, Vince Lawrence, Juan Atkins, and Carl Craig - as well as scholars, radio DJs and party promoters, we'll find out how two chilly mid-western cities taught the world to dance.
