Miami-based DJ and producer Ernesto Hidalgo is an exciting rising talent, making a name for himself with his unique blend of Ghetto House and Electro Breaks, the only constant is sub cracking’ tunes. Better known to his fans as E.R.N.E.S.T.O, the Venezuelan-born artist has released tracks on the likes of Toolroom, Dirtybird, Bunny Tiger, Punks Music, Psycho Disco!, Trippy Ass Technologies and Box of Cats.

E.R.N.E.S.T.O’s groundbreaking productions are molded by his nomad upbringing, a culture clash of Latin groove and underaged trips to Ibiza, mixed with a deep dive into Miami Bass, Chicago Juke and Detroit Electro. This unique blend has garnered support from the likes of Claude Vonstroke, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Christian Martin, Shiba San, and landed him coveted sets at Dirtybird Campout, Hallucination Before Christmas, Space Miami and Imagine Festival.

When he is not being featured on Mixmag and DJ Mag, or dominating the Beatport Breaks charts, he finds time to help out new musicians with his production tutorials on Youtube, and design his own "Broken English" clothing brand.

Ex Australian ARMY. After 6 years of service I decided to move to Whistler, Canada. Working in countless Nightclubs and the love for all music I quickly realised I wanted more for myself. With the passion to succeed and the love for house music I quickly switched to the CDJ's. 

Some of my idols are Chris Lake, Justin Martin, Eli Brown, FISHER, GAWP, Walker & Royce, Will Clarke, Camelphat and Green Velvet. Just to name a few. These idols are a huge impact on who I am as a DJ and also inspire me to create.

Broken Boy is a music producer and DJ from Canada. His sound is an evolution of his upbringing in the west coast bass scene; a mix of genres of bass music including Drum & Bass, Dubstep, and UK Garage. His sound is dark, ethereal, and experimental, and plays on his dark past and emotions. 

With releases on labels such as Space Yacht Records, Guau’s 83, SubLabel, Westwood X. Broken Boy is making his mark as a capable musician. As a DJ he has equally established himself supporting the likes of AC Slater, Chris Lorenzo, and My Nu Leng, and SkiiTour.
