In late November, on a spur-of-the-moment decision, I bought a beginner DJ Controller from an amazing and inspiring friend. Who would have thought that just three weeks later, I'd be playing my first DJ set in a club in front of a live audience?

And what an audience it was! I couldn't have wished for a better group of dancers than all the friends, both old and new, who came to see my opening set. 🕺💃

I am simply completely over the moooon!!!  🚀🌕

A huge thank you to everyone for giving me this opportunity to share some of my favorite tracks with you. Thanks to those who arrived at the club way too early just because of me.

Thank you as well to everyone tuning into this set now because they missed the live experience. Your support means the world to me! Hopefully we will dance together soon 🙏🎶

Opening Set @ Schneiderei 16.12.23

The Vibe Raters join bass forces and wreak HAVOC on Schneiderei club. 

We promised you chaos, so here it is... a full hour of insanity, bouncing, screaming, and sweating. Not for the faint-hearted. 

This set is a special one. Never before have we seen as many beautiful ravers fill the club to the brim so fast and so early, yet more kept pouring in all night. Thank you all, your support means everything.

And thanks for following us into unknown territories, including the holy 175bpm DnB that came as a surprise in the second half. Your screams are definitely what kept us going.

The Vibe Raters saga continues...

Starting off "slow", the Vibe Raters open with their signature 130 bpm dirty bass sounds. But 17 minutes in, Ema suggested moving to 150 bpm as he felt the crowd could take more. Gilles enthusiastically agreed. From then on, the set took a new life, and the Vibe Raters went hard, back to back, bass to bass, bounce to bounce.

But wait, the ravers still wanted more, so the krazy kimonos took them to the twisted lands of sl*tty techno. The boys even sprinkled in some psytrance here and there. The crowd was quite pleased with that.

In a final sprint, Gilles wanted to squeeze the last drops of energy out of the crowd. He turned to Ema with 3 powerful letters: D. N. B. And Ema enthusiastically agreed and just like that, the Vibe Raters achieved their final form for the night: the promised land of nasty 174 bpm Drum and Bass insanity.

The ravers showed their extreme bliss with screams and sweaty karate dance moves. As they all ventured into the night, the building started shaking once again.


The last gigs have been getting bigger and better. A huge thanks to YOU BEAUTIFUL RAVERS for the immense love, wild energy, and constant support through it all. This means everything to us and pushes us to keep delivering good music and chaotic fun.

Spring awakening live from deep within the Fairy Forest! The bouncy boys navigate a mystical land where psychedelic colours, unique sounds, and hot sweat are all intertwined.

It was an absolute bliss performing this 2 hour set for you. Starting off with 137bpm psytrance, moving towards 145-150bpm naughty and hard techno, and taking it all the way to the promised land, the one and only, the 174 bpm Drum n Bass grand finale you’ve recently come to know us for.

Thank you for giving us abundant energy, for embracing the intense ride, and for making your step counter proud. And special thanks to Léa and the entire team for setting up such a beautiful experience!

Picture having an entire nightclub to yourself. Thick fog envelops the mystic lights surrounding you. The heavy bass reverberates through your body, while sweat trickles down your neck.

Welcome to Legal Ecstasy - our dance event in Munich.

Our mission is to take you on a journey. Picture starting with a serene ocean, traversing dense jungles, expansive grasslands, scaling unforgiving mountaintops, and finally, soaring through the sky.

I strive to blend a multitude of genres, all within the electronic realm but varying in style, tempo, rhythm, emotion, vibe, and energy level, with one ultimate goal: to get you moving.

At times, it may surprise you, offering release, encouraging you to let loose and command the room, while other times, it might draw you inward, urging you to glide across the floor with subtlety.

Over the summer season, I've been lucky to play and attend some great gigs, but unfortunately, I never recorded those mixes. I prefer to live in the moment and let the music breathe.

This two-hour mix aims to encapsulate some of the great moments I've had over the season into a retrospective listening experience that hopefully keeps you coming back.

My tastes in music have been changing recently to incorporate more worldly and Afro-influenced sounds, and this mix reflects the current mood of what I've been playing and what's getting me dancing!

I had a great time recording this for you, and I hope you enjoy listening to this different side of my musical catalogue.

MAD LUCAS ‖ Musical Memoirs (Summer 2024)

The Vibe Raters venture deeper into the rabbit hole with a slow and smooth set played on the 2nd carpeted floor of the Luminara Labs event on May 4th.

Starting off with psychedelic, darker sounds and slowly paying it off with a smoother, lighter end, this evening was special. Contact improvisation and a beautiful sea of souls were happening all around us, the energy translating through these sounds.

What a wild weekend with wild people. We are still buzzing from your screams, jumps, and energy! 

Starting off with an acapella tribute, then pushing/pulling from dark to light, and from sexy to hypnotic, this set is a signature Vibe Raters one. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did while playing it, and as much as the beautiful crowd did.

Amazing people, sunshine and music. What a great way to open the Zurich rooftop summer season!

Huge thanks to Sarafina, Alisa, and Judith for inviting us to play at sunset at their party, and to everyone for dancing and creating this moment together. @DjOrgy_official and I could really feel the energy.

We took a more progressive direction with the sound than we usually do in the second half, trying to find beautiful melodies, chords, and atmospheric sounds to match the sun and sky, while keeping the flow and the groove of course. We hope you will enjoy listening again to this recording!
