A relatively unknown Californian Soul & Gospel band, The Supreme Jubilees released only one LP, in 1979, which was recently re-issued and is a highly recommended gem. 

Keyboardist Leonard Sanders wrote the wonderful song, "It'll all be over", and I was not surprised when I read he was a big fan of Donny Hathaway, as this soulful groove clearly evokes Donny's sound.

Gooey is a project by Siggatunez to celebrate the love for funk & soul, disco and jazz music. The intention is not necessarily to put hands on the rarest and hardest to find goodies but more to recontextualize and impart the sound and aesthetics of that time. This is why there was put a lot of effort in rearranging, editing and carefully post-producing the tracks to tell a new story, making the tracks accessible for the modern dancefloor but primarily keep the feeling of the originals. Get that gooey feeling...Founded in Berlin, made for the world.
