The beginnings for Dj Saeg in the sound system culture began in February 2011 when he became the official DJ of Lengualerta, one of the artists that some consider most representative of mexican reggae lasting 12 long years together.

However Dj Saeg began much earlier as a producer and turntableist player since 1999 always impregnated by this culture although without being a participant.Together with Lengualerta they have joined forces 2011-2024 traveling across Mexico and internationally in 2017 in Germany in cities like Heidelberg, Munster and Berlin, in Switzerland: Luzern and Bern, Austria: Vienna and in the Czech Republic: Prague.

The contribution that Dj Saeg has offered to the scene is the peculiarity of adding scratches on the genres influenced by Jamaican music, which is not common even worldwide. Selecting and manipulating samples that in his opinion are better suited to these sounds, he has obtained the acceptance of audiences who, despite seeing it as an exotic and unfamiliar element, often manage to translate it into dance movements when enjoying a session of Mexican underground sound system. He has also played within different projects for up to 15k people in Mexico and different festivals and clubs in Chicago, Denver, Whichita, New Orleans, St Luis, San Francisco in the US and in different cities around UK, Ecuador, Brazil, Guatemala and Spain

In 2023 he published his first dub EP with the Californian label Avocaudio Records managed by the renowned Roomate and then on Culture Dub in France.

Dj Saeg has collaborated with vocalists internationally such as Omar Perry, Brother Culture and Longfingah (lllibilly Hitec)  It is always characterized by challenging the ears of the purists of the genres, trying to make the borders between genres more flexible, seeking to find links that are fresh and that arise from a limitless nature such as that of Dj Saeg.

Los inicios para Dj Saeg en el Sound System dentro de los sectores del Reggae comenzaron en Febrero de 2011 al convertirse en el Dj oficial de Lengualerta, uno de los artistas que algunos consideran mas representativos de esta cultura en nuestro país, juntos durante 12 largos años.

Sus sesiones de dub a nivel internacional han sucedido en Festival Kupuri en 2014, Berlin en 2017 en el club Aller Eck, en 2019 en el Festival Cosmic Convergence en Guatemala y en 2023 en Colorado en Estados Unidos.   No obstante Dj Saeg comenzó mucho antes como productor y tornamesista desde 1999 siempre impregnado por esta cultura aunque sin ser participe. 

Con diferentes proyectos ha tocado en Auditorio Nacional, Teatro Metropolitan, Bellas Artes, Cine Plaza Condesa, Salon 21 Foro Sol , y en mas de 20 ciudades en clubes y festivales en países como Guatemala , Estados Unidos,Ecuador, Inglaterra, España, Alemania, Austria, Republica Checa, Suiza, Brasil.


Junto con Lengualerta han unido fuerzas durante mas de 12 años y contando, viajando por todo el país y a nivel internacional en 2017 en Alemania en ciudades como Heidelberg, Munster y Berlin, en Suiza: Luzerna y Berna, Austria: Viena y en Republica Checa: Praga.

La aportación que Dj Saeg ha ofrecido a la escena es la peculiaridad de añadir scratches sobre los géneros influenciados por la música Jamaiquina, cosa que no es común incluso a nivel mundial. Seleccionando y manipulando sampleos que a su forma de ver se adaptan mejor con estos sonidos obteniendo ha obtenido la aceptación de las audiencias que a pesar de verlo como un elemento exótico y poco familiar a menudo lo logran traducir en movimientos de baile al disfrutar una sesión de sound system underground mexicano.


Dj Saeg ha colaborado con vocalistas internacionalmente como Omar Perry , Brother Culture y Longfingah (lllibilly Hitec) y a nivel nacional con los remixes de Olinka de su disco  Raices Somos transformando un par de tracks en versiones de dub y también una colaboración inédita por el momento con Sista Freedom otra excelente cantante de Reggae mexicano ademas ha sido Dj de Alika en Mexico desde 2021.

POSITIVE THURSDAYS IN DUB is a group of experienced musicians, who loved experiments with sound and jazz improvisation.

It all started in late 2011 as a musical project, which was an extension of Positive Thursdays radio show – broadcasted continuously since 2006. Passion for dub made created a project that with expanded time grow with new members and as a live act start to play regular concerts.

In such form, they functioned almost 4 years in between organizing such successful events as Thursday Bass Addicts Island Bass Addicts, True Bass Addicts or 71Hz Unity. Additinally they supported artists such as legendary British reggae group Steel Pulse, vocalist of Black Uhuru Michael Rose and Jamaican reggae singer Etana or Dutch reggae/dub producer Twilight Circus and Polish bass music producer Hatti Vatti.

They also toured abroad appearing in Scotland during Wee Dub Festival in 2014, and in Bulgaria on Student Camp Summer Fest 2013. In fall of 2013 they played live dub session at Radio RAM in Wroclaw as first band in history of this radio. This session was broadcast live directly from studio giving birth of RAM Sessions cycle. In 2014 they start cooperating with British Singer Ghetto Priest (Asian Dub Foundation/On U Sound).

Year 2015 is a breakthrough for the group. DJ live act turned into a full-fledged band that includes experienced musicians who above all value experiments with sounds and musical freedom. They left together on a journey looking for your own unique sound.

Intensive work in the studio results with the creation of new tunes. Additionally, in 2016 Gheto Preist came to Wrocław to work together with the band. Effect of this visit is the documentary movie "Rockin 'In Babylon", which was recorded during studio sessions. Since than band hasn't slowed down, appearing at various events in the country as Independent Dub Day 2017. They also opened show for a popular French band Dub Inc. during their visits in Poland.

2018 is, apart from concerts, mainly focus and works on an original material. Concept of the album "Landing On Planet Dub” was released on April 4th, 2020 by a Dutch label Rockers Artists Agency, with whom band has been cooperating since 2019.

Shows of Positive Thursdays in DUB are above all focused to show everyone a broad spectrum of reggae and dub music. Overcrowded with improvisation performances make it unique every time no concert are the same. It's fun from playing music and a specific transfer of the idea of sound system juggling speeds and moods on organic sound of the band.

Vibronics, the future sound of dub, have been vibrating the world with bass since 1995. Their music is at the forefront of the UK Dub scene, proven by over 40 releases on their own legendary SCOOPS label as well as a host of albums, singles and remixes for a myriad of other labels such as Universal Egg, Jarring Effects, Dubhead and Jah Tubbys . In the studio they have worked with Zion Train, Iration Steppas, Macka B, Ranking Joe, High Tone, Big Youth and an almost endless list of dub & reggae luminaries. Wether dub-mixing live on stage, rocking the clubs or uplifting the festivals, Vibronics continue to perform tirelessly across Europe as well as in Asia, Central America and the Caribbean.

Vibronics come roaring out of their studio with 12 brand new remix collaborations featuring the cream of French dub artists … High Tone, Zenzile, Brain Damage, Weeding Dub, Blackboard Jungle, OBF and Kanka are just some of the artists to be re-worked in this one away international project.

3 x 10" single release on SCOOPS Records for summer. This host of killer new vocals include works by Demolition Man, Ras Tweed, Professor Natty & Echo Ranks as well as instrumental contributions from London's Ital Horns and Tokyo's Killer Sista Makiko.
