Singing opera & exploring sounds…
eskalia (she/ her) is a Viennese mezzo soprano with Greek and Hungarian roots. She discovered her love for dramatic and sorrowful sounds early in her musical education, an affection that deepened during her vocal studies at University Mozarteum Salzburg. In 2024, she started exploring electronic music herself and since then, aims to take each listener on a journey through extraordinary sounds and deep emotion in her DJ sets. However, her passion for art and culture extends beyond performing music. She favors warm and communal atmospheres, as well as artistic and cultural exchange, which led her to co-found @innig-collective

𝖎𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖌 [ˈɪnɪç], [ˈɪnɪk]: a German word with many faces that resists easy translation. A word weaving together a plethora of layers; it is devotion distilled, a bond that speaks in silence, a warmth that melts deep into the marrow, a sincerity that holds without clinging. Fierce in its tenderness. A profound connection that feels like communion.

Bearing this name, 𝖎𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖌 is a new collective and cultural platform focusing on a distinct musical vision, embracing strength of community and fostering cultural exchange.

We are dedicated to creating a stage for the darker, grittier and harsher realms of technoid underground electronic music, summoning eerie atmospheres laced with melancholia and intensity. We aim to contribute to Vienna’s electronic music scene by pushing boundaries and opening spaces for darker sonic experiences.

Furthermore, we recognize that we live in a society characterized by inequalities and therefore decidedly strive for the creation of safer spaces with high levels of inclusivity and sensitivity, building on a foundation of solidarity and compassion.
