His DJ career started 1999 with AUDIOCULTURE, a big music event located at Freiburg, Germany and hosted by SUBCULTURE - URBAN MEDIA.
There he played in front of an massive audience of more than 1500 party people.
Bookings at Rock In, Zero Club, D-Club, Club Dream, Club Oxygen, C'a D'oro, Headliner & Borderline followed.
He also showed his skills at SUPERDISCO Events such as 'FREUDENHOUSE' at Club Notlösung or 'HOUSESTARS' at Rebus Club alongside top acts such as Dani König or Mat Caseli and even mixed the official HOUSESTARS Mix CD.
During this time he also became a resident DJ at Club Titanic and at Nachtschicht - Vibes Club.
There he played everything from Funky House to Electro House, Tech House & Electro.
He was also invited many times to play Progressive House DJ sets at the famous Radio Show TranceXpress on Radio X.
His first release at Cherry Beatz Records was 'ACID SLAP' which also got remixes by DJ Sastro and Breaco.
In 2024 he united with UNSER BEATZ and LE CODE Events for premium bookings in Switzerland and France.

DARKNOISE, is a musical project by Chilean producer JE Poblete, which makes us navigate through the darkest and most hidden landscapes of techno, generating forceful atmospheres, which break our ears with raw kicks, ghostly voices and sharp melodies. Each DARKNOISE track makes the listener dance in the shadows surrounded by spirits, zombies and ghoulish beings. It is this combination of darkness and energy that is the basis of DARKNOISE's powerful approach to techno.

Featuring uplifting swathes of electronic and techno music, up-and-coming music producer techno-Xcitement is offering listeners some exciting compositions.  Immersive and surprisingly refreshing, the artist is capable of engaging all kinds of listeners while stirring their inner emotions. Though it is an instrumental project, there are multiple emotive moments that create a progressive storyline. Starting off slowly, the journey gradually takes its pace and maintains it  vibe. With such a long clock time, the melodic elements instantly takes listeners on a stellar journey of techno music.

- Roul Bauer aka Vicious Steam Engine was born 1978 in Germany. His Techno Passion awoke in the 90ies, with the upcoming Rave Scene in Switzerland & Germany.

The urge to create his own Techno Journeys was born at August 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown. He started producing his own techno tracks one year later. He learned mixing at an Dj/mixing Workshop at Mixmasters.ch. Just for learning/training Sessions, he started an Techno Podcast called "Hot Pressure Stream" at Soundcloud. The Podcast and his Social Media grew steadily and other Guest Djs played at his Podcast, like Anne Rosko, Isca Nublar, 909RIOT, Traumtherapie, Dj E-Viction, Tchie, Andy Pirie, techno X-citement, Dj Capelli, X-Dream and Nao Tamura.

Vicious Steam Engine has been a guest DJ on podcasts such as TECNO OSCURO (2 DjSets), a Darker Wave, Techno Topic by Andy Pirie and RTDFRAVERADIO from Brooklyn. In his latest 2 guest DjSets for RTDFRAVERADIO he played alongside with great Djs/Producer like Franky Bones, Lenny D. , Jim Solis, D.A.V.E the Drummer, Rewilder, Chris Liberator, Dj Papa Smrf, Jay Maniakal, Dj Hoora, Bösetecha, Destro187, Belaroc and many others awesome Djs.

28.11.2021 he released his first EP at TECNO OSCURO: Dark Dance of Gratitude
followed by 18.04. 2022 by "Kill the Silence"EP.
Since 2023 he focused really deep on music production. He was at 2 Techno retreats of Mixmasters.net in Ibiza, where he learned from legends such as Funk Dvoid, Patrik Berg, Harvey Mckay, Wehbba and Josh Wink. Now he is currently taking an online course in Electronic Music Production at Björn Thorwellen's Sinee Institute and try to master his Abelton Push 02.
