Mnestic is a new label from Leipzig curated by Jonas Wernicke aka Kontinum. The goal is to gather local artists and international well known producers to set a future-orientated sonic footprint in the hypnotic techno community.

Mnestic 001 is a diverse release by Craft, Mary Yuzowskaya, Michal Wolski and Blovk and shows the direction the label will go in future iterations.

The EP kicks off with "Painted Lady," where muted synth chords intertwine with swirling pads layered over high-velocity percussion. Next up, "Red Admiral" has a booming kick drum underpinning dubby synth chords and stabbing vocal textures. "Adonis Blue" is third on the release, and it blends gothic synths with soulful vocal tones cut by slamming percussion. "Comma" brings the release to a close with breakbeat rhythms and a menacing synth line that's got trippy undertones.
