Kingdom Come

This demo version is an April 2020 update of an original song, to reflect some thoughts on how we can trust God during the Coronavirus Lockdown.
The original song, based on Lamentations 3:24 and Psalm 31:20, was finalised at the 'Resound' Worship Songwriting Retreat in June 2019:

As we live through this pandemic, 
We’re in Lockdown in our homes;
Through anxiety and panic, 
We can all feel so alone.
Through it all, Lord, may we shelter
In your presence, and remember: 
	You are our portion,  
 	All we need comes from you;
 	You are our portion,	
 	We will wait, Lord, with you. 
Even though we feel frustrated, 
Kept apart from those we love, 
We believe we’ll come through safely, 
Though the path’s not clear to us; 
So we rest, Lord, in your presence,
Knowing you will bring direction.  	
 	You are our portion,  
 	All we need comes from you;
 	You are our portion,	
 	We will trust, Lord, in you.
