Chris Liebing is on the creative hot streak of his life. It’s now 30 years since his rocket ride through the dancefloors of global techno begun – but the current phase encapsulated on the 2026 Evolver album pulls together all the reasons he always loved what he does, all the things he’s learned, and a new-found confidence born of deep introspection, and channels it all into focusing and intensifying his DJ and production superpowers. The exact same energy he threw into his early residencies at the foundational techno temples Omen (Frankfurt) and Tresor (Berlin) is there, but enhanced with all technological advances and study of what moves ravers worldwide, it feels as vivid and important as ever.

Chris grew up in a small town outside Frankfurt. As a boy he was always uncertain of himself yet was compelled to focus on what interested him. He pursued playing tennis to a very high level and felt that might be his path – but absolute obsession with music compelled him even more. From listening alone and deeply at home, through pause button cassette DJing at teenage parties, to a residency at a commercial club on the fringe of Frankfurt with rickety decks balanced on the bar, his desire to be surrounded by the sounds he loved, and also to work out the techniques that could draw others into what he was hearing and keep them locked in to it.

A job at Sven Väth’s Eye-Q label led to a fortuitous chance in late 1995 to fill in for a last minute drop out in The Omen – which he smashed so convincingly he quickly became a big local name. His break at Tresor came in almost identical circumstances, and from then on he has been a watchword for the most fundamental, sweat-drenched, joyously powerful European techno which he has taken to dark cellars and vast festivals the world over. His productions, labels and radio / podcast work have likewise kept the faith for the pure, energetic forms of techno whatever trends have risen and fallen. There’ve been diversions into brooding experimentalism for the legendary Mute Records, but always that deep and powerful original pulse has been there, not least via his hugely influential CLR label – and now it’s stronger and more vividly present than ever.

We are a Burning Man sound camp and artist collective based out of San Francisco and operating in Black Rock City and beyond. 2013 was our maiden voyage.

Slam (aka Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle) are a tour de force on the global techno circuit. Their unique, six deck, back-to-back DJ performances have seen the duo play leading clubs and festivals across the world. They are renowned for both their experience and their powerful, contemporary sound. 

They are co-owners of Glasgow's Riverside Festival, and also host the legendary Maximum Pressure warehouse parties, which showcase the best emerging local talent alongside some of the most established names in international techno.

Their iconic Soma Records label boasts in excess of 600 releases, hosting Mcmillan and Meikle's own productions and many of today's most cutting-edge techno artists.

The last few years have seen some of the duo's most prolific studio output as they continue to innovate and keep things moving forward, most recently with the release of their experimental full length record Athenæum 101. In addition, Slam have also remixed tracks from the likes of Planetary Assault Systems, Clouds, Dax J, Damon Wild, Richie Hawtin, and Truncate, to name just a few. 

Slam also host one of Techno's most respected weekly podcasts, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed over 400 episodes. The show allows the duo to demonstrate their conviction to creating and promoting music and vibes that provide an antidote to the mainstream by inviting fellow artists from the vibrant Techno scene, from obscure names to current trailblazers.

Everyone's fate is made of many tales. Although our own destiny might be dwelling in our breast, it also takes strong convictions and the courage to challenge yourself. DJ, producer and label manager Marcel Fengler is the best example that talent isn’t just a matter of luck, but the will to believe in your own passions while constantly developing them. Today, Fengler has not only been quoted as „one of the finest techno DJs“ (Resident Advisor), he has earned international respect for his „well-crafted body of production work“ (FACT) introducing his unique and „multi-faceted personality“ (Electronic Beats). 

While growing up, he was first fascinated by the hip-hop culture, breakdance, and graffiti art, Fengler’s interest shifted towards techno music and the art of DJing after the Berlin wall came down. As a vinyl nerd he began playing records during the early nineties. By witnessing Claude Young mixing with three record players, Fengler followed his path merging both hearts in his chest: turntablism and techno. Carried away by the magic and the togetherness of the first hardcore and trance raves in such clubs like E-Werk or Tresor, he organized his own parties in his hometown Fürstenwalde.

Over the last two decades, Fengler developed a versatile and dynamic style of DJing that made him one of the first resident DJs of Berlin’s infamous Berghain / Panorama Bar in 2005. With his impressive intuition for the very moment, Fengler is capable of changing pace, atmosphere, and energy reacting to the mood on the dance floor: whether industrial-drenched hardness, broken beats, gloomy dubs or melodic and funky grooves – next to his inimitable instinct, Fengler draws from a varied repertoire. The approach of allowing to drift away within the momentum also applies to his first singles as a producer on such labels like Ostgut Ton and Mote Evolver. His debut album „Fokus“ (2013), in particular, was a statement of his ambitious claim, awarding his own tracks with emotional densities as well as unexpected contrasts. 

Bringing together both his melodic groove and beat tracks and his straighter cuts, he founded his own imprint Marcel Fengler Index (IMF) in 2011 – a platform that not only continues evolving his timeless techno approach but represents a creative center introducing new and young talents. A logical step for an artist who’s always interested in looking beyond his own nose represented by his project DIN, the mutual collaboration with Philipp Sollmann (Efdemin), for the contemporary dance project „Masse“ of the Staatsballett Berlin. 

As a DJ and producer, Marcel Fengler stands for imposing surprises and the appeal of variety. For him, techno is both unconditional passion as well as an essential part of his identity. He’s not bound to a linear or one-dimensional sound, instead, he’s constantly seeking for new ways to express his emotional storytelling skills. His willingness to challenge himself and to stay curious, while establishing changes as his secret persistence, is showing his true vision of techno which makes Marcel Fengler to one of the today’s most exciting electronic artists in these days.

Magda is amongst the most high-profile and in demand artists, having proven herself as a consistent, adventurous and exceptional performer, with a knack for bringing music together in unexpected ways.
Magda's realm as an artist pans far beyond the typical role of DJ and producer. With an open mind, Magda will try her hand at whatever feels right – from music technology collaborations and events to producing premium Tequila - creating a truly unique, multifaceted expression of herself.
Born in Poland and raised in Detroit, Magda discovered beauty and inspiration in Detroit’s raw urban landscape. In 1998, she joined the Minus label and began touring as Richie Hawtin's main DJ.
Since her first international tour in 2003, Magda established herself globally as an artist known for pushing musical boundaries and expressing her unique style. She released her forward-thinking DJ mix album 'She's A Dancing Machine' in 2006, followed by her debut artist album ‘From The Fallen Page’ in 2010 among other single releases. Magda’s remix work includes Plastikman and Depeche Mode and DJ mix albums for Fabric, Balance, as well as a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, among others.
In 2006, Magda established the Items & Things label and booking agency with Troy Pierce and Marc Houle.
In 2017, she launched the Perm event series in Berlin. Sitting pretty at the crossroads between art and club culture, Perm was a collective initiated by Magda and established in the name of artistic cross-pollination with a very strong multimedia aesthetic. Guests included Atom TM, Burnt Friedman, Jan Jelinek, and Cristian Vogel.
Recently, Magda has produced and performed alongside T.B. Arthur as Blotter Trax. The Blotter Trax live show combines modular synthesis, live improvisation and rhythmic exploration. Performance highlights have included live audio- visual duets with video artist Lillevan (Morton Subotnick, Christian Fennesz) and a recent club tour of Japan which saw the duo performing live and transitioning into Magda’s signature DJ sets.

I'm Juan, a musician who’s equally obsessed with classical music and electronic beats. There’s just something about how techno plays with rhythm and harmony that pulls me in like nothing else.

I feel most alive when I’m outside my usual concert venues, especially when I play in Berlin’s underground techno clubs. Those spaces really trigger my creativity.
