For over 15 years, EG has been at the forefront, supporting artists, labels, brands, and festivals in a dedicated and bespoke manner, understanding and caring for the artistic product. We've always valued those who take the time to create and have been there at every step of the road.

Collaboration and diversification is at the heart of the Victor Y project. Unconfined tracks are often produced with musicians in the studio, merging innovative sounds with sincere organic talent for spontaneous yet flowing energies. From delicate chillwave, through deep and driving techno and house, Victor Y’s sound is versatile, with holistic and humanistic qualities. 

Following his inaugural exploration of the project, including the single ‘Black Light’ charting on Triple J Unearthed accompanied by heavy FBI Radio play, Victor Y’s productions have paved his way into the Open Records and Bassic Records families. Upon the release of his debut EP ‘Blueprint’ with Open in 2017, Victor Y’s work gained recognition from worldwide electronic extraordinaires including Maceo Plex, Guy J, Henry Saiz, Marc Poppcke, SQL, Jamie Stevens, Stereo Underground, Soulwerk and Gabriel Rhome. 

Of course, commercial success needs a balance with artistic expression. Each Victor Y musical project overflows with conceptualised storytelling. On the Open Records 2018 hit compilation Expansion Pack ll, the single ‘Colin’ infers a playfulness and uplifting quality inspired by companionship. Whilst his remix of Doppel & Ken Zo’s ‘This Moment’ on Bassic Records, represents the darker side of the VY persona, it still displays spontaneity and experimentation, qualities this project is making a name for. 

In sharing his musical endeavours around the world, Victor Y has DJ’d to crowds from Switzerland, Denmark, Poland, Germany, New Zealand and of course his home country of Australia. He continues to aim for a widened range of experiences, featuring at multi day festivals of the forest, to intimate club nights, foremost Shankra Festival (CH), Subsonic Music Festival, Earth Frequency Festival, Dragon Dreaming Festival, Twisted Frequency Festival (NZ), Rabbits Eat Lettuce Festival, Uebel und Gefährlich (GER), Polygon Club (Berlin), 64 (DEN), Metronom (POL), S.A.S.H and Capulet.

Kobana – not many artists can be quickly recognized after just a few musical notes.

Kobana is definitely one of them thanks to his unique production style. His signature is enclosed in amazing percussion and synth lines, which work together creating synergistic effect. As one of the journalists has put it: “they pop up together so well…”.
 
Kobana’s music journey started around millennium change when he got introduced to basic capabilities of computer recording software and flexibility which only computer workstation can offer.  Since then, he has spent countless hours in his home studio learning production techniques, tweaking and bending the sound, reverse engineering someone else’s music productions, finding out the best use of mastering science and plugins.

The result of his dedication is quickly recognizable in his productions: all sounds create a fantastic harmony that engages the listener and ideally transfers Kobana’s emotions. His skills were quickly recognized and fructified (and still do) in number of collaborations (some of them became an ongoing projects: with Mario Hatchet and Yane3dots, some others were just one off). 

Nowadays Kobana is regarded as one of most talented producers in the progressive house world. 
Top DJs and labels in the industry appreciated his music, his dj sets appeared in the most respectable radio shows.  However, as Kobana used to say: this is only just the beginning. His motto: to deliver quality over quantity remains true.
