Hot on the heels of the A-Sides Volume 5 compilation, Enrico Sangiuliano makes his return to Drumcode with his highly anticipated EP ‘Moon Rocks’. The heavy hitting four track EP shines a light on Sangiuliano’s tight, thundering production skills. The hoover heavy lead track ‘Moon Rocks’ is packed with booming percussion, intricate synths and brooding crescendos. produced techno weapons with the remarkable three-track ‘Elements’ EP.

The title track sets the scene: a hypnotic raindrop rhythmic texture cascades down the spectrum

while a fog horn bass groans through the moody mists. Already a heavily ID’d track in Dubfire’s

recent shows, this is one of Alex’s most arresting grooves to date.

It’s backed by the equally on-point ‘Omnia’. Pneumatic hypnotica with a palpitating bass that wraps

around the industrial strength kicks; there’s a pensive sensation of momentum that’s not dissimilar

to Underworld in its lolloping dexterity.

Finally we’re plunged even further into Alex’s deep psyche on ‘Substance’ where a pensive

cavernous bass groove groans and growls with measured ominousness beneath vibrant, shimmering

cosmic synth vapour trails that are guaranteed to hypnotise.

Bio:
Class 1990, Viels was born in a little city outside Milan (Italy). Early in his adolescence he discovered techno culture inspired by a book called “TECHNO“ by Christian Zingales. Having released his first Ep on Initial Berlin in 2015, Viels continued his musical path becoming a resident of the well respected dutch imprint Dynamic Reflection paving the way for labels such as Warm Up, Mord, Semantica, Non Series and more.
Co-owner with Francesco della Sala of “End Of Perception”, Viels is also one of the residents of the party Acquario in Milan.
With an increasing interest and having performed in quality clubs like Tresor, Perron, Cassette, Schron and shared the booth with the likes of Oscar Mulero, Svreca and Dasha Rush to name a few, Viels is establishing himself as part of a new wave of djs and producers approaching the contemporary techno scene.
