Inspiration: Eleven Golden Ducks – The song Eleven Golden Ducks refers to the gold rush that attracted people to places like Colorado Springs in the 19th century, in order to get rich quick. The lyrics of the song refer to this historical event, but in a metaphorical way, the social connection to material success. The symbolism of the "golden ducks" to the illusion of wealth, the so-called fool's gold, an illusory value, one of many chases, only one from sight of what is really important. The pursuit of gold continues, but for the girl, "fool's gold" has no value. She wants something more from the rich sly, than just material wealth, searching for the "golden spirit", which is meaning and external connection. The number eleven in the lyrics, symbolizes the angelic location of the connection of souls - the "golden soul", which symbolizes unity and spiritual wholeness, as well as love and bonding between people. The golden duck in relation to cricket, refers to the term "golden duck", which is used in this sport. In cricket, the "golden duck" is used when a batsman (striker) is bowled out in his first over, which is very unlucky in the first instance of a ground ball. The "golden duck" is a symbol of failure and that game, resulting in an effect or outcome.

In the context of the song, the reference to the "golden duck" symbolizes access to a quick source or success that ends in failure. A girl doesn't want to have a guy and his one, golden card in a financial institution with one footnote.

In reality, it is about finding intangible values, spirituality, authentic relationships and peace of heart and soul, instead of blindly pursuing illusory wealth.

These sisters hung out with us on our dock last summer. Luanne disappeared for some time and Bluanne was quite distressed, quacking constantly. (The quacks on the track are hers.) When Luanne eventually returned, she was back to her old tricks of bullying her sister.

"Atlantis" is my submerged city.
This song was born from a year of silence, mourning and scars. It is dedicated to my father death one year ago, my first guide, my first sound. As a child, I watched him listen to The Shadows, immersed in a world that I didn't understand then, but that keeps me alive today.

The artwork represents that child — me — suspended between absence and memory. The shadows of the guitars are the remains of what has been, yet they still vibrate, as if somewhere they were still playing for him.

"Atlantis" is not just a song: it is my way of going down into the depths, among the ruins, and bringing what remains to the surface.
