oracle was inspired by the epic stories we’re told as kids. we wanted our first release to start the way any epic journey does; by going to consult the wise oracle for advice. 

this advice comes across differently for everyone. for some, its literally through word of mouth. for others, it may be their intuition pulling at them and leading them in the right direction. for others, it could come through religion, and so on.

whatever it is for you, finding and heeding your guide, your oracle, is the first step the hero(you) take into the unknown. the first step on your journey.

this isn't my favorite piece i've ever made, but i feel like it fits in with the theme of "currently.undefined". art is never fully finished, fully envisioned, fully defined. it just reaches a "this is acceptable" stage. this one is in the acceptable stage. 

i don't entirely like half 2 of this song, but nothing else i did felt right, so this is acceptable. 

this idea came up throughout the entirety of currently.undefined. not necessarily in the same fashion, but the same idea for sure. in that, i relearned a lot about myself and about life. 

sometimes it's best to move on to what's next, even if what was/is isn't completed, isn't perfect. the things that are on the other side of the lie of perfection end up being some of the most profound things. 

the lie of perfection can make the difference between 100 quick actions taken, all with 1% growth, and 1 extended action taken with 100% growth.

FREAK NASTY - PRETTY SWEET(REMIX)

Night has fallen in the desert. You peer up at the star-studded sky, taking a dusty breath through a bandana you bought during your last trip to the Orion Nebula, winking at it as it hovers above the east horizon. You're approaching an indigenous tribe, gathered around a large fire, performing an organized ritual. Two central figures play the flute and didgeridoo while surrounding members whisper prayers and sway handmade rain sticks. You pull your energy goggles down over your eyes and see sparkling blue and white geometric waves emitting from the crown of the collective tribe, traveling upwards into the grid of the atmosphere. This is a Rain Dance; a plea for the water that is needed to survive on this planet called Earth.

A single drop of vibrant turquoise falls and sizzles in the center of the fire, creating an opening into the physical dimension. This is the manifestation of the people, a visual affirmation of their abilities to tune into the frequency of the grid, as more drops of water permeate the dimensional barrier and fall to the dust. Before long, it is pouring, and a spiraling flow of energy rages between the people and the sky.
