Endorphins consist of a large group of peptides and they are produced by the central nervous system and the pituitary gland. They act on the opiate receptors in our brains, therefore they reduce pain and boost pleasure, resulting in a feeling of well-being. Endorphins are released in response to pain or stress, but also during other activities, like eating, exercise, or sex.

Four types of endorphins are created in the human body. They are named alpha, beta, gamma and sigma endorphins.
Beta-endorphins are the most powerful.

The word endorphin comes from putting together the Greek words “endogenous,” meaning from within the body, and “morphine,” which is an opiate used to reduce extreme pain. In other words, endorphins are natural pain relievers.

Luc Sauvage and Michele Tessadri met in Berlin, that wasn’t difficult considering that at the time they were both regulars of the Berliner underground electronic scene.
With their previous projects they released original production/remixes and edits under various aliases on different labels such as Nang, Under The Shade, Slow Motion, Cliché Breaks and Passport To Paradise to name just a few.
The natural consequence was starting a joint production venture in which they could blend their influences and lay out dance-floor oriented music, which has been released on Slow Motion, Roam Recordings, Where Were We? and Pizzico Records among others and got enthusiastic feedback from deejays all around the world.
