Good song that requires some attention. There is a lot to discover if you don't just listen to it casually. So concentrate!

This opening bassline is great. Seems to indicate a direction which the track never quite goes in but that's what helps make it great, especially in the first 90 seconds or so

really like the feel here, we're back home with the big bassline and the synths are super pleased :)

I agree with Viroo regarding the hidden details within the track: as usual, you paint a very dense soundscape that requires focus but feels rewarding exactly for that.

I created this song in the last few days, it was a busy month. The synth itself is a decent one, could be someone's first synth as it's designed to learn. The controls are pretty basic and the FX section lacks some crucial parameters (like low/high filtering for reverb/delay). The synth has its own character though. It's reminiscent of 90's virtual analog synths with that characterful phase restart effect when unison mode is turned on. I could even make some cool rave sounds with it.

Factory Tour

The gremlins in Negoba's studio decided to steal snippets of his previous OSC's to create a monster destined to confound and disgust all listeners. Unbeknownst to them, their creation (Jenkins) instead prefers cuddles and long walks on the beach.

All sounds created using Odin2 Softsynth by Wave Warden for KVR OSC #197.

Mix of stock presets, tweaked presets, and init. Shout back a bit to a previous track where I used Odin on an open round. I think I’ve learned a little since then.

Tropical Surprise OSC199

This month's synth is the rather interesting RipplerX by tiagolr. Bit of a physical modelling departure from usual. Once again, this effort has nothing to do with the title but probably best to keep fingers and toes inside the car at all times. So, this was assembled from a CPU straining 22 instances of RipplerX in Bitwig Studio 5.3.13. I quite liked the dry sound of this synth but even so, a bit of reverb and delay was applied. The following additional plugins were used:

- dpMeter5, Blue Cat Gain 3 and KClipZero on clip to zero duty
- NI Raum and Valhalla Supermassive for some reverb
- Bitwig Drum Machine
- Bitwig Compressor+
- Bitwig Delay+
- Bitwig EQ+
- TDR Kotelnikov
- TDR Nova

Midi for the percussion was generated with Modalics Beat Scholar while the non-percussion midi was generated with Scaler 3. Most patches were from init with some of the percussion based on the included patches.
