Lovers of high-impact, high-drama, dancefloor-attuned DnB know it's time to sit up and pay attention when a Tantrum Desire release drops. Not just a creator of some of the most monstrous anthems to grace streams, raves and festival stages, but also one of the wickedest selectors on the circuit, this is a producer who knows exactly how to move a crowd.

So, let's step into 'The Arena' and see what's up.

Interleaving pads, disturbed by fluctuating touches of distant timbres, set the tone. Drums enter to deliver a juddering pulse and ramp up the anticipation. Then, to add one more twist, TD breaks things back down, adding the first hints of a call-to-action synth riff and ghostly vocals, then onwards to a surging build.

As the bassline, beat and riff hit together, it's obvious we're in the presence of something irresistible. We're rolling with that classic vibesy jungle recipe of manipulated breaks, a heavyweight low-end and samples. But, this is Tantrum Desire at work, so watch for his pristine synth-work and those trademark cinematic atmospheres he's used to carve his signature on the sound.

Excitingly, here we're getting to see Tantrum Desire revisiting some of the junglist themes he explored on his 'Diversified' album. And, we already know he's got a myriad of other styles and flavours in his musical toolbox so we can't wait to see what possibilities he's going to explore next.

After appearing on the label alongside Aperio, Low:r is about to debut on Program through his own three-track EP. His background as a band musician flows through his sounds and his forthcoming EP takes you on a more detailed exploration of his moniker.

The lush tones of first track ‘The Journey’ is pinned by its clattering breaks, as ‘Fatman to Batman’ follows suit with flitting drum sequences and cascading beats. The EP wraps up with 'Jericho' with help from artist Hiraeth, alongside its lulling instrumentals.

So once again, it’s time to get with the Program. Breaking through another producer who’s continuing his journey on the imprint.

Following the release of their debut album ‘Resonate’ at the end of 2019, Dossa & Locuzzed have certainly made their mark in the world of drum & bass with their signature funky sound. Following on from Part 1 of the Resonate Remixes, which included a heavyweight rendition of the iconic ‘Shag’ by A.M.C & Turno and a groovy take on ‘Blinded’ feat. Patch Edison from Millbrook, Part 2 features industry powerhouse Crissy Criss, fellow Austrian Mofes, and competition winner Dino Shadix on remix duties.
First up is Crissy Criss’ take on certified funky DnB anthem ‘Off Course’. Maintaining the undeniable charm of the original, Crissy Criss infuses new energy into the track, transforming the soothing number into an absolute weapon. Set to destroy the dancefloor with its resounding basses and powerful sounds, you can bet this one will elicit a memorable crowd reaction.
Next is the first of the two competition winners with LUKA’s take on ‘Get Nasty’. A sombre reimagining, LUKA changes the tone of the track entirely, creating a suspenseful intro followed by a much more ominous sound while never losing the energy of the original.
The next remix is Mofes’ take on ‘My Love’ featuring the sweet vocals of Misses U. Hailing from one of DnB’s greatest hot spots, fellow Austrian Mofes delivers an enigmatic take on ‘My Love’. Capturing the soulful elegance of the original, Mofes quickly turns up the heat with his dark and sinister beats, melding flawlessly with elements of the original for a seamless remix.
Last but not least is something a little bit different, coming from competition winner Dino Shadix with her dubstep rendition of ‘Get Nasty’. Slowing things right down to a comfortable 140, Dino Shadix gives a whole new meaning to the track’s title, with plenty of nasty in-your-face bass sprinkled with just a hint of the original funky flavours; it’s not hard to see why she won out of so many talented entries with this out-of-the box take on the track.
With four very different but equally outstanding takes on some of Dossa & Locuzzed’s most well-loved tracks off their album Resonate, this second taste of the remix package is a proud testament to the diversity of the label. Tracks from an established drum & bass veteran, an outside competition winner, and a hometown hero all sit together perfectly for Resonate Remixes Part 2 – keep an eye out for the rest soon, only on Viper.

The most mysterious member of the Viper famiglia, the self-proclaimed modern godfather of drum & bass has proven time and time again why label boss Futurebound was wise to open the books to Giganti early last year. Making a name for himself with a slew of mobbed up releases including ‘The Kraken’, ‘Danger Mouse’, ‘Olympa’, and a remix of Kanye & Chris Martin’s ‘Homecoming’, Giganti has proven his loyalty since the beginning.
What little we do know about him is his ability to create tunes of mass destruction, each track a vastly different weapon in a growing arsenal that leaves fans begging for more. His latest release ‘Runaway’ proves he’s not one to mess about, delivering high-octane drum & bass pumped full of adrenaline that pucks more than just a punch.
Viper are proud to release this latest single from the formidable Giganti, who has proven to be a valuable asset to the growing Viper family.

Chords makes a triumphant return to the Ram Records camp after a hiatus which stretched too far for many fans of the producer. But now he offers not one but three incredible brand new selections, each of which diving into a different sphere of his unbridled creativity.

Rolling out first is ‘Arrhythmia’, with Chords sat at the helm between each string pluck and rattling, drum-led dancefloor breakdown. Meanwhile, ‘Throttle Up’, alongside Wayne Contakt debuting their first collab, takes it to growling depths whilst adding a different flavour and undertone to the package. ‘Ultra’ follows in quick succession, drawing the EP to a close, alongside revered Manchester figures North Base and Pulsar, a relatively new talent but one who proves his weight alongside his two expert collaborators. 

It’s a striking comeback for Chords - unexpected, but it's one of the most anticipated releases on Ram from the past twelve months.
