Ratnavandana lead us through a meditation where we just try to be present with our experience in the context of the mandala of the Five archetypal Buddhas. Today we are invited to sit in the "heart's natural state" of metta (loving kindness) and to visualise the great tree of the Brahma Viharas.

The ‘Bodhichitta’ is sometimes rendered as the ‘will to Enlightenment’ or the ‘heart-mind of Enlightenment’ - signifying the complete dedication of our efforts to cultivate wisdom and compassion, in line with the Buddha’s teachings, making no distinction between our own well-being and that of others. In that sense the development of Bodhichitta is a truly communal practice, and might even be said to arise on a collective basis. The mantra captures a flavor of what that might mean and the joy implied.

Here is a version of the Green Tara mantra, recorded while walking in the forest Majroskogen, nearby where I live. Green Tara is the bodhisattva of active compassion, with one foot in meditation posture and the other ready to step out into the world. She is very beautiful and always responds when she is called. Viryabodhi är det namn som Subhuti jag fick när jag blev ordinerad in i Buddhistorden Triratna, under en 3-månaders retreat 1989 i de spanska bergen ovanför Benidorm.
Jag är fortfarande förundrad över Buddhas lära och alla övningar och inte minst alla utmaningar och möjligheter som vänskap och kommunikation med mina likasinnade bjuder på. 
Till vardags ägnar jag mig åt översättning av buddhistiska texter till svenska och allt i processen fram till publicerat verk. Se Bodhi-förlaget på nätet. 
Utöver detta leder jag oxå en del retreater på Dharmagiri Retreatcenter och undervisar en del på Stockholms Buddhistcenter.
