It is one of the most anticipated Global DJ Broadcast episodes every year, and for many a highlight of the summer (no pressure guys!), where I dedicate myself to crafting a special 2 hour mix containing some of the most beautiful melodies and early morning moments that have graced the beaches and shores of Ibiza and beyond - the Sunrise Set.

After 3 months of preparation in ensuring that this would be a journey to remember and appreciated, I showcased it to the world on Global DJ Broadcast, and as requested by the fans, here it is for all of you to enjoy and stream at your leisure.

Global DJ Broadcast partner and our friends at Afterhours.fm are celebrating 7 years on the air, and to mark each anniversary, they throw a huge three day-long event with exclusive sets from the biggest DJs. Hi again,

Today was a special Global DJ Broadcast for all the listeners, as we kicked off our seventh Ibiza Summer Sessions season, where for the next three months we will be bringing you the very best magical moments emanating from La Isla Blanca throughout the summer.

Because of the fans I have always tried to make the opening and closing Ibiza Summer Sessions shows that little bit extra special. And in the case of the opening party, that means collating lots of exclusive tracks for debut radio play all in the one mix - almost like a mini-complation of sorts - combined as always with your current favorites and requests. 

When I was making the show I felt quite uncertain at times about how it was all flowing, and wasn't sure how the show would go over. So I've uploaded it here to give everyone the opportunity to absorb the set and get used to the newer tracks on offer. As always, I'd be curious to hear your feedback so let me know what you think in the comments. 

Hope that this will be a nice little soundtrack to your weekend, as a crazy Las Vegas weekend of the Electric Daisy Carnival on Saturday and back to back with Ferry at TAO Beach on Sunday awaits. Enjoy the journey.
