Whats shakin funky people?!  We are back with Volume 186 of the series, and we are thrilled to welcome THREENEONTREES to Soul Room Sessions!

Three Neon Trees (or Adam as his mum calls him) is self-confessed house music maniac. In his own words: “All other forms of music were just precursors to house. When house was formed, music reached its apex, the promised land. There is nothing more after this, just house”.

Adam was a face on the Manchester, UK underground scene during the late 90’s and early 00's, DJing and promoting nights, championing quality underground house, playing alongside some of the greats. Then when the UK club scene dies in the early 00’s, he had to make some difficult decisions and life took over.

But the passion never left him. After nearly two decades he couldn't resist the yearning for those four to the floor beats. So be bought himself some gear, dusted off his records and is now finding his way back into the scene.

He tends to lean toward the Jackin Chicago house style, occasionally mixing it up with other genres, but always maintaining an underground feel, without straying too far into the subterranean - "House music was invented for dancing to not listening to!" is his mantra and he likes to keep it fun, always experimenting with the art of the mix, utilising and embracing all available technology, combining old vinyl favourites with new digital gems.

Founded in early 1998, the goal was to consistently put out records that would be loved and played by many in the house music community. Viva Recordings found success with its first debut from Johnny Fiasco and the with Rick Preston's Altruism EP, which gained notoriety when "Spring Fling" was featured on Mark Farina's San Francisco Sessions Vol.1. From these early releases the road was paved for Viva Recordings' success. Over the last few years we have been working on personal projects but now have decided to bring the label back and take the Viva name back.
