Erika discovered Seattle’s underground electronic music scene in 2008, and quickly became a regular patron of the dance floor. Once she had become a part of the community, Erika understood the importance of giving back, and could often be found volunteering at the local club events and festivals. Originally influenced by the more bass-driven sounds of Drum n’ Bass and Hardcore, Erika’s taste in music as a dancer expanded to techno and the many sub-genres of house. After over a decade of making the dance floors of Seattle’s clubs, lofts, rooftops and abandoned warehouses her home, Erika decided to dive further into electronic music and began DJing as Copeland in 2021. Because of her many years of dancing and feeling the music, Copeland has an intuitiveness to her DJing style that cannot be taught. As her confidence behind the deck has grown, so has her energy and movement, which feeds the crowd and sets the vibe. Rarely sticking to one genre in her sets, you’ll hear everything from Classic Chicago/Detroit House, Funk & Disco, to Minimal, Deep & Psychedelic House, Afro House and Organic House; paired with sensual and soulful undertones. Copeland has had the opportunity to DJ and produce several summer festivals such as Sun Worship, Afterglow, Cascadia, Panacea, Audible Bicycle Day, and APOG, plus local events for her burning man camp, The Dusty Booty Ranch, the infamous Train Car House Party, Flammable, Uniting Souls, and Hunt & Gather. Copeland has DJ'd at Monkey Loft, Lo-Fi, Madame Lou's, Substation, Nectar, High Dive, The Woods, The Seattle Art Museum, Timbre Room, The Hiyu boat, Cherry, Chop Suey, and more! Copeland is also a resident of the 25-year old House label, Viva Recordings, where she is learning about the business side of throwing events; bringing her full circle back to where she started, focused on the well-being of the Seattle Dance Community that has become her chosen family.

Founded in early 1998, the goal was to consistently put out records that would be loved and played by many in the house music community. Viva Recordings found success with its first debut from Johnny Fiasco and the with Rick Preston's Altruism EP, which gained notoriety when "Spring Fling" was featured on Mark Farina's San Francisco Sessions Vol.1. From these early releases the road was paved for Viva Recordings' success. Over the last few years we have been working on personal projects but now have decided to bring the label back and take the Viva name back. Doza is a Seattle-based DJ/producer who has played a seminal role in the Pacific Northwest electronic music community throughout the 21st century. A first-generation Venezuelan-American born in Texas who has been based in Seattle since childhood, Doza originally made his mark on the worldwide dancefloor circuit as LawnChair Generals during the early 2000s. Although it's been nearly a decade since the last LawnChair Generals release, Doza has stayed active with productions and remixes, as well as sharing stewardship of Hunt & Gather Records alongside Seattle luminaries Pezzner and Michael Manahan.

Cuillere, a prominent figure in the house music industry, has built a successful career as a producer and DJ. His journey began in the early nineties when he started DJing at various raves. Through skill and dedication, he gained a strong following and secured club residencies across the United States. In 1999, he collaborated with Jolby to form the renowned crew known as the “Jack Junkies,” further solidifying his influence in the industry.

Cuillere’s passion for house music production led him to form an alliance with Busy and Crux. Their debut single was released on DJ Sneak’s esteemed label, ‘Oomph.’ Building on this success, Cuillere and his cohorts, now known as ‘Busy N Spoon,’ went on to release tracks on prominent labels like Lingo and Photo Records. Transitioning to a solo career, Cuillere released a series of compelling EPs and remixes that captivated audiences and drew attention from record labels such as Moulton, House Music Salad, No Fuss, LNJ, Pluralistic, Simplistic, Panhandle, and several others.

Hey everyone...I make music because I love music and how it makes me feel. It's as simple as that. The music I create has to have feeling, and more often than not what I call 'the feeling' — that feeling that you get when the hair on the back of your neck stands up and demands your attention.

I'm heavily influenced by design and patterns. Reggae riddims are like mathematical formulas for me — the ultimate patterns waiting to be discovered. This notion of patterns can translate to any music...if you can make something with 3 or 4 elements that can capture an audience yet still be relevant generations later, you've done something amazing. 

Not all of my tracks follow that formula but I try to let the sounds and elements speak for themselves in any track.
