No termina de formular la pregunta cuando su mente se empieza a desvanecer. Antes de desconectarse, puede ver que lo cogen unos gigantes que llevan trajes blancos y lo examinan minuciosamente. Intenta despertar, esto debe ser un sueño...

00; Resting state; Unreal; Starting moment. These concepts get mixed up and a wheel begins to turn. 
He looks right in front of him and sees a tunnel with a distant light. He decides to go there and finds himself enveloped in a sticky, red-colored liquid. Are these visceral.... He doesn't finish asking the question when his mind begins to fade. Before he disconnects, he can see him being grabbed by giants wearing white suits and examining him thoroughly. He tries to wake up, this must be a dream....

'Aggelos first approached Lurid Music with the idea for this project a few months ago. We agreed on one condition, that all proceeds be donated to refugee causes, like we did with his Black Sea EP which supported the Syrian refugee crisis. When Russia invaded Ukraine, we decided our focus had to be helping the Ukrainian refugees who were forced to leave their homes in search of safe havens abroad.

We discussed this with most contributors to the project and the consensus was that donations should strictly go to humanitarian groups and not any armament funds. There were also some thoughts about helping conflict-affected peoples in other parts of the world but we decided it was too much to tackle for a relatively small project like this one.

Therefore, donations stemming from the sales of this release will be distributed to the following humanitarian groups currently active in Ukraine or neighboring countries welcoming refugees:

This illustration is an homage to Maria Prymachenko’s “May That Nuclear War be Cursed!”, which also inspired the title of this release. Vortex (YNV Remix)

Invité.e.s Mélodie Blaison (artiste plasticienne et musicienne), et Gautier Valéry Grégoire (co-fondateur du label Grande Rousse disques) discutent de pratique musicale, de field recording à l'écoute des paysages sonores du Mont Ventoux, des spectres audibles de dimensions parallèles et du paranormal comme magie et déconstruction des normes. Se rendre attentif aux chants des mondes invisibles et à ce qu'on a désappris à considérer.
On dit souvent que nous vivons dans une société de l’image, et cela a des effets sur notre perception et notre façon de penser le monde, notre rapport aux autres et à nous-mêmes, à l’environnement… Que peut le son ? Que peut-il donner à entendre ou faire expérimenter qui conteste les représentations dominantes?


Cette table-ronde était animée par Manon Schaefle, auteure et présidente d’Equinoxe. Elle a été réalisée le 8 octobre 2022 lors de l’événement Equinoxe #1 au Sample co-produit par l’association Equinoxe et le média Bad to the Bone fondé par Hervé Coutin.
Équinoxe est un événement transdisciplinaire (concerts, performances, marché d'éditions et créateurices...) qui invoque la création et l’expérience musicale dans leur dimension rituelle et leurs pouvoirs de désempuissantement des schèmes dominants qui possèdent les consciences, ceci avec une forte sensibilité écologique. L’idée est par exemple d’ouvrir d’autres horizons, notamment en se tournant vers l’invisible et l’indicible par le biais de la musique, de la dimension sonore, des bruits.
