N°093 -  Light Ambient Music - studying, yoga, think

O grupo foi formado em Estocolmo em 1991, quando os músicos Tord Lindman e Johan Högberg, entusiastas do rock progressivo, procuraram músicos que seguiam suas influências e que tinham interesse em, literalmente, reviver essa sonoridade. Com a adesão de Thomas Johnson, Jonas Engdegård, o jovem e promissor baterista Mattias Olsson e, por último, a flautista Anna Holmgren, o grupo estava formado, caindo em extensivos ensaios e apresentações em 1992. Ainda nesse ano, o grupo conseguiu encontrar uma gravadora, com o sugestivo nome de Mellotronen, para produzir e gravar seu material. No fim desse ano, "Hybris", o primeiro disco da banda e um dos melhores discos de progressivo dos últimos tempos, foi lançado.
