Mayan Warrior is the result of a collaborative project that has united artists, craftsmen, photographers, designers, technologists, architects and musicians from Mexico City and Northern California. 

The project’s original intent was to present to the world the incredible ascent of contemporary Mexican electronic music while paying respect to the deep and ancient sources from which that visual and auditory culture had grown.


Both light and sound are curated by some of the world’s most prominent artists to transport participants to the very origins of the culture – and to a new understanding of contemporary electronic expression.

AND YES: Mayan Warrior is driven from Mexico City to the playa – and back – each year. It's a labor of love and we're glad so many people enjoy it.

StephyV is a musical storyteller (DJ) and up and coming music producer hailing from San Francisco, CA. She’s a true house head with a special love for disco, funk, soul, and deep, groovy beats. She’s known for creating powerful musical journeys, full of exciting twists and turns, sharing her captivating signature vibe wherever she’s playing. Discovering the scene by going to raves across California in the late 00’s, she was instantly hooked and developed a passion for the power of house music. 

Channeling vibrant house energy on every dance floor she meets, these days you'll find her slinging a variety of beats behind the decks at the top clubs around the city, festivals, and beyond, supporting artists such as John Summit, CASSIMM, Low Steppa, Oden & Fatzo, Amal Nemer, Tube & Berger, Sage Armstong, and more. She's recently been included on festival and event lineups such as Groove Cruise, DAYBREAKER, and E Komo Mai.
