This is our contribution to a charity compilation of electronic music, raising money & awareness for Médecins Sans Frontières.
 
Médecins Sans Frontières - also known as ‘Doctors Without Borders’ - is an impartial, independent, and neutral organisation that provide medical and humanitarian aid wherever needed, across the globe.

With the current civil war in Syria, much of the media focus has been on the political aspects, often forgetting the tens of thousands of victims and refugees.  Médecins Sans Frontières, and their volunteers, are still on the ground in the region providing aid.

It is available on a 'pay what you choose' basis - you can download for free or any amount you decide at http://balkanvinyl.bandcamp.com, and we will donate here (and claim gift aid) on your behalf or you can go to http://www.justgiving.com/musicsansfrontiers and donate directly (and also leave a message if you wish).
 
All profits go directly to MSF. All of the artists have contributed their music for free.
Although Balkan Vinyl usually concentrate on physical releases, this compilation is entirely digital to ensure as much money as possible goes to charity.

Music Sans Frontiers (English spelling of ‘Frontiers’ deliberate) was chosen as the name, as the compilation does not stick to one genre of music (unlike the ‘Acid Relief’ compilation in 2011, which focussed mainly on TB303-led music) and instead we asked the artists to contribute tracks with no restrictions on style.

Tee Eye Am - Gods of Music [YHV RECORDS]

This piece is the first serious composing I've done in four years due to some bad life choices. The title came about in reading about Ulysses encounter with Circe on her island, and how he was lured by her charm. But for me, Circe is both a person, and an insidious intoxicant that took over my life, even while I was a master at hiding it. Being able to finally get back to writing is a reclamation of my former self, so I hope you might be able to glean something of the spirit in which it was written when listening to it. It was a labour of love, and something I had, until the descent, just taken for granted, a mistake I won't make again I hope.

The painting is the same title by the great pre Rapaelit painter, John Waterhouse. His work is worth checking out.
