Pulse Vegan part 1

This is music made with mushrooms in the forests (and gas stations) of British Columbia. It's also a holiday album. Amanita muscaria and Santa Claus / Christmas traditions are linked in strange and wonderful ways. I hope you find this mushroom holiday album strange and wonderful in its own right 🍄

All tracks were recorded live using a combination of modular synthesizers and other analog equipment. Generally, I'm using small changes in bioelectricity to trigger note and rhythm changes in the synthesizers. Specific gear used includes the Moog Mother 32, Instruo Scion and Harmonaig, Make Noise Mimeophon and Maths, Mutable Instruments Clouds and lots of modulation sources.

Brussels residents The Untouchables return to Samurai for their fifth full release for the label.

While working on their next full length LP for Samurai, a cluster of tunes began surfacing where their inherent dub flavourings had become the dominant characteristic of the tune. Such was the infectious power of these rhythms, it became apparent a full EP of this sound was presenting itself organically. Onward Forward is the EP The Untouchables have always needed to make - a release that will leave an indelible mark on the year. We’re delighted that Samurai is the imprint that releases the EP to kick off our summer 2024 collection.

Origins

@carrotgreen from Rio de Janeiro is a very nice guy. Actually you can hear that in his music – he’s providing beautiful world styles combined with classic electronic elements in a very different way since years. The Kin Sharuba EP contains an Acid driven original tune and another one called Orientação Espacial which is more relaxed. Remix delivery successfully made by @dengue Dengue Dengue from Lima and Comemé’s @christian-s-1.
