Native to Nashville and no strangers to musical basements, bars, and busy backyards, Alex Benick, Austin Edwards, Asher Horton and Ben Parks have whipped up one HELL of a debut single and another fresh addition to our catalog and theirs. Produced by the inimitable Buddy Hughen (Tristen) and mastered by Nashville's best set of ears John Baldwin, the single itself stems not only from recent a studio session across town, but is also the culmination of years of practice and pretty much CONTINUOUS performance since maybe... like... their freshman year of high school? Not to be that guy (but damn it to the jaws of hell if it isn’t the truth), these guys are, uh, totally ace. How did we not notice sooner?

On the heels of their justly lauded LP Dream All Over, Gun Outfit deliver Two Way Player, an EP of enigmatic and spacious guitar music that stands alongside the bandʼs boldest and strongest work thus far. Abstracted legends of the American West, fortunes gained and lost, tragic songs of life rendered in deep focus – all portrayed through mysterious and dense compositions that recall the lonely expanses and warm intimacies of the films of Bruce Baillie and Gunvor Nelson. Compulsory listening for any fan of American Music, Two Way Player is a brief, beautiful dispatch from the countryʼs most consistent band, a record equally suited for stoned sunny mornings and lonely full moon nights. Two Way Player was recorded in New York in June 2015 and features an alternate lineup including David Harris (Milk Music) on bass, Joe Denardo (Growing/Ornament) on guitar and Will Lawrence on electric piano in addition to the core group of Daniel Swire, Carrie Keith and Dylan Sharp. Recorded at Kutch 1 Studios, Brooklyn.

Written in his South London living room and recorded in Glassell Park, LA the music of Boys Forever marks an exciting new chapter for Doyle. 

Effortlessly infectious yet spiked with bruised melancholy, these are sparkling, off-kilter gems for those who like their perfect pop with a bit of bite as well.
“Poisonous” is the first fruit of these labours, a gloriously slanted and enchanted anti-love song warning against the charms of a terminally toxic suitor. 

It is released on 7” vinyl on the new label Amour Foo.

Formed nearly 10 years ago while in high school the band now known as Murals have traveled a long road to their debut Full Length LP. After some dips and turns the three core members have landed back in their home town of Louisville, KY. They write record and live in a house on a hill in the not so swank part of town - the type of place that acid trips and all day jam sessions go hand in hand. The results are an ever present body of slow churning psychedelic folk that wouldn't be so surprising in your hippie dad's record collection or buried deep in the crates of your headiest record store.
