Under Pressure

I love summer. The temperature and humidity make you sweat even if you stay still. The sun illuminates all the shadows that we would like to hide, both in landscapes and in people. That summer, people began to suffer from abnormally high temperatures. It is no longer a summer of memories, but a summer of ``heartache.'' I can't stand summer.
The song is a rambling expression of summer, and fragments of my anger ooze out.

A beautiful song written by the great Phil Coulter and covered by many artists including the late great, Luke Kelly and Sinéad O'Connor to name but a few. I kept this very basic, a song that is very close to my heart and a song dedicated to anyone who has a family member with special needs. This is for our family member Louise,we all love you.

This song started as a hauntingly beautiful acoustic piece written and performed by James on his acoustic guitar. He shared it with JJ, who got the rest of us involved. JJ first added his barroom tinkle piano to the piece. Stephen quickly added the moody, tremolo guitar you hear throughout. Then, Ken and I did our little dance of back-and-forth bass-drum tracks until the rhythm section was solid. All that was left was for Stephen to mix it, with which we always appreciate his expert hand. 
  This is our first song with James, and it came together relatively quickly, which means we were all into it and having fun on it. James' page has a lot to hear on it-- some great originals and collabs, and some really cool covers, too. If you like this song, you'd really enjoy stopping by his page, too. As always, we hope you enjoy listening to this one as much as we enjoyed making it.
