For Heath Antonio, “Home is where the heart is,” a quote that best describes where his influence and talents derived.  Born to Cuban and Dominican parents, and raised in the Bronx, Heath Antonio found his niche. “The Passion for music came early on in life,” elaborates Heath.  At the age of 15, the sleepless nights of songwriting and playing the guitar all developed naturally.  It was not long until Heathklif found himself performing his compositions at his High School and local clubs; which lead to a deeper inspiration and artistic development.  All of his lyrics stem from poetry and past heartbreaks. The name Heathklif was definitely an adolescent phase in where life experiences strongly defined his music. This chapter quickly closed, as Heathklif faced several trials and tribulations while transitioning into adulthood. The music matured as well as the artist himself.  In 2003 music took an even greater meaning when Heath’s daughter, Cali was born. Cali also played a fundamental role to both Heath and his music. Such experiences now mirror who Heath Antonio truly is. The metamorphosis from Heathklif to Heath Antonio is evident through his music. Heath introduces this overpowering, out of the norm, dark, sexual, fun, and erotic mood, with one goal in mind.  Auditory euphoria.
