Hello! I sang ラブカ?/Love ka?/Is it Love? in English with lyrics that I wrote! Hope you enjoy! :D

A NOTE ON THE LYRICS: 
The name of the song is a pun which can mean either "frilled shark" (known as "rabuka" in Japanese) or "is it love?"
ラブカ= rabuka = frilled shark
ラブか＝rabu ka= love ka = Is it Love?

Obviously, it is hard to convey this double meaning in English. So, although it’s not a perfect translation, I chose to go with the phrase “loving jaws” in place of “rabuka” throughout the song because:

A) it matches the original rhythm/cadence of the song
B) it has an obvious “shark” related reference (i.e. The movie, Jaws)
C) Rabuka/Frilled Sharks are known for their large and distinctive mouths/jaws
D) it implies being trapped within a relationship that appears on the surface to be loving, which is what I interpret the song to be about

So I hope you understand my decision for my translyrics! 

Anyway, did you notice I got a new mic? :D I hope there's a noticeable improvement in quality! So when I first heard this song I was like huh, how the heck would you sing that in English? So I decided to try. Ado's voice is insane, but hopefully I did alright with the singing haha. Inspired by her cover, I tried to experiment a little bit with the way it sounded, and I'm honestly pretty proud of how it turned out. Sorry for the delay, more covers soon! So when I heard Meteor Garden was getting (yet another) remake, I immediately felt nostalgic of this song! The first Meteor Garden I watched was the 2001 Taiwanese version, and I remember falling in love with two songs in particular: 你要的愛 (The Love that You Want) and 煙火的季節 (Season of Fireworks). But I absolutely suck at singing in Chinese because I can never get the pronunciations correct, so I decided hey, why not make English lyrics to it  instead :3
