To participate in the Haiku Music challenge::

- Make a song in response to the weekly assigned poem (a new poem is published every Wednesday)
- When choosing a title for your piece also include the assignment number, for example “Title of your track (naviarhaiku382)”

To submit your track:

- If you’re a Soundcloud user, upload it on Soundcloud and send me the URL via private message, or tag me in the track.
- If you upload your music on Youtube, Bandcamp or anywhere else, upload your submission and then send me the link by email at marco@naviarrecords.com or contact me on X, Facebook or Instagram
- If you don’t use any music platform, upload it to this Dropbox folder and I’ll include it in the weekly playlist. If you choose this option, make sure you include your name in the track’s title. www.dropbox.com/request/JvKyUfuCSzJ3gRNRocZz

I put together three generative parts for this in Reason - using Grain, Europa & AudioDamage Phosphor. I then moved over the first take of this to Ableton and did some processing there - some dirt, some echo, a touch of reverb.

A Sunday after the Storm

Jesús Lastra aka Voidborn Horde, is a Venezuelan ambient electronic music composer born in 1986. Since 2002, He starts this musical journey by exploring experimental sounds, influenced by ambient music and soundscapes that evoke vast and ethereal imaginary worlds. Under the alias Voidborn Horde, he has developed an unique style with electronic elements and ambient textures, finding a kind of "false enviroment sounds" to give the listener an immersive and dreamlike experience. His music is characterized by its ability to evoke neutral deep emotions and meditative states of patience, making him a reference in the ambient music scene.
